Please be advised that UGGs knightsbridge boots internet store (which apparently changes its URL occassionally) is selling fake UGG boots as authentic and charging close to full price. Though they advertise a fairly flexible return policy, when I complained they said I could send the boots back to China at my expense for a 70% refund. Clearly this was unacceptable, so I reported them to my credit card company, which validated that it was fraud and reversed the charge. In the process, they were very difficult to deal with and totally played dumb about the operation. Here is an article I found that I wish I had read before buying UGGs online.

Chinese counterfeiters are all over the internet selling fake UGG boots, but there are some steps you can take to protect yourself in the future.
 1. Go to UGG Australia's official site http://www.uggaustralia.com/customerService/dealerLocator.aspx?store=online and look at their retailers authorized to sell online. 2. Legitimate sites are unable to use the word 'ugg' in their website address or company name. Any site using 'ugg' in it's URL, you can be sure they do not sell the true UGG Australia brand.
 3. Check the site's registration at a WHOIS resource such as http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/index.jsp . Sites registered in China or Hong Kong sell counterfeit product.
 4. Check the Wayback Machine http://www.archive.org/web/web.php to see how long a site has been up and operating. Counterfeit sites don't have much of a history or last very long.
These are the quickest and easiest ways you can protect yourself when buying UGGs online. There's more information regarding this matter on our website http://www.superlambfootwear.com/howto.htm
