I want to thank the individuals who posted the reports on this company. I would have fallen to this trap of theirs if I had not checked this out first. This would have wasted my time and I have no doubt I would have been scammed as I am sure that many are.

I interviewed with them and I met with two the recruiter and the office manger. Both have never sold any of the products. Being a go getter and well trained and tenured business to business sales representative, the story seemed as a good plan. I never got my questions answered to a definite as an experienced salesman I always make sure that I know how I am paid and when. This was a blur as not even in their booklet that they gave me to go over and rehearse did it mention anything about compensation. There was a promise of 750.00 per week beginning on the second Friday, a car, cell phone and gas a month later if 3 sales per week were done and some other ifs. There was allot of ifs. I was asked to go over the 100+ page booklet that by the way does not say anything about the salesmans compensation, and return in a day and give them the two page easy presentation and do a test, so that I would be ready to hit the street the first day.

I got a little uneasy about the lack of facts and the low level sales representation I saw at their office. I decided to check the web and that is when I saw these postings that I know now saved me from a scam. If anyone else answers their employment ad, be advised this is a complete scam.

#6 UPDATE EX-employee responds

They're every bit as bad as you can imagine

AUTHOR: UCFNYY - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 15, 2012

I worked for this company as well, for three weeks.  Having been involved in professional sales for much of my career, I found myself looking for work after being laid off due to the economic downturn.

I was promised HOT leads, a turnkey program that couldn't lose, and $750 per week in training pay, plus car and cell phone allowances. What I got was leads that were often years old (many of them had rejected service previously), a corporate culture and sales system based on deception and deliberately inflated statistics, and a pay structure that reverted to minimum wage if you didn't convince 3 businesses to take on the free* trial in your VERY FIRST week. No product training to speak of, no support (front or back end); here are your brochures, go sell. By the way, we're out of professional, color brochures. Take these black and white photocopies with you true story). Then we get into the obscene numbers you'd have to post to get the car and cell money. In my tenure, not one front line rep qualified. There were only two people left on the sales force who were there when I started.

Now let's talk about pay issues. They pay a week behind, so after busting my a*s for two weeks, I looked forward to getting paid for it. A "communication error" lead to my paperwork not being filed with the corporate office in time. I was informed that I would be paid the following Friday. That was unacceptable to me, and I made it very clear that I had the resources at my disposal to initiate legal action. I had to drive up to Broward to get that check. Finally, they attempted to withhold my last paycheck. After I was terminated for not producing (which very few people do), I was still owed a week of pay. After trying to be nice and getting nothing but the runaround in return, I had to make the DM aware that I knew of their reputation and that, once again, I was fully willing and able to take legal action. I firmly believe that that was the only reason I got that check mailed to me.

The only way I think they make money is by the sales managers poaching the warmest leads from people who give them an honest effort and succumb to the inevitable. On most of these forums, you have the occasional response and empty threat from a current employee. As stated above, they could never follow through with legal action because they know that claims like mine can be substantiated. There's also a VERY good reason that their posts are outnumbered as badly as they are. This is not a "promising opportunity"; it is a fraud.

OH BOY THREATS

AUTHOR: Jane - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, September 05, 2011

This action you threaten would be the best that could happen as pro bono lawyers are hungry fro hundreds of victims from your advertisements lies, or havent you read them all over the internet. How many so called scammed companies that got suckered to a 60 month contract on a 300 dollar water purification system do you think would love to join action against your company. Go ahead, open up a can of worms for yourself and your company.

WARNING THIS IS A FRAUDULENT COMPANY

AUTHOR: Jane - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, September 04, 2011

Read through the previous posting attempt to make this company seem as a reputable company and then do the research and you will find that it is nothing more than an attempt by a management personnel to clean up their abuse. From the advertisement that they use to draw in the unsuspecting prospective salesmen that does not offer any of what they claim. They will attempt to throw the new person out on the street within days so that they do not have to give them anything that they mention on their advertisement, as the weekly pay, or the car, or the phone. None Zippo.  If you do decide to sit through the interview listen carefully as none of the advertised will be guaranteed.
This is a ripoff company abusing hundreds of innocent good people who are in desperate need for work. Do not trust in them. Any company that claims to be what they claim to be will invest in their representatives so that they can succeed. This company does not. Dont go to work for them, you will be sorry.

#1 UPDATE Employee

Are you kidding me?

AUTHOR: Happy employee - (USA)

POSTED: Saturday, September 03, 2011

Ultimate Business Services  happy employee

Ultimate Business Services has been a wonderful opportunity for me to provide for my family. I have worked for UBS for years and just wanted to say thank you. Everything they have promised has come to fruition. I enjoy an above average income, company vehicle, benefits, and a fun work environment. I just can't imagine working anywhere else.

I really think that posting a negative against UBS without working one day and basing your write up on the slanderous words of a so called anomous individual would be ignorant. And further more, If you were truly a seasoned business to business, go getter, sales rep you would never be unemployed. Great salespeople look for opportunities, not obsticles, positives not negatives.

When you stated you alway make sure you know how and when you are compensated leads me to believe you have had several jobs and are only looking for money instead of a career that compensates you. The best salespeople are committed and unstoppable. They are hard working loyal people who dont job skip. You never get ahead in life starting over constantly.

In response to the comment about the recruiter and the office manager not having sales experience, do I really need to answer that? Recruiters and office managers are not sales people, they perform HR responsibilities and manage offices.

The booklet given to you is part of the interview process to show that you are willing to prepare for a career with the company and really want the job. The fact that the company even offers compensation for your initial training is a plus. It shows that the company is willing to invest in your career with UBS.

It is unfortunate that you that you missed a great opportunity to work for a fast growing company that has been in business for many years.
