Ultimate DVD Shop, DVD Avenue Sold me Damaged, Dubbed, Low quality, Taped directly from tv, Incomplete tv series DVD set Miami Florida

We were sold a Married with Children series set that was obviously a scam. The series was taped directly from television, and even has the station logos on the recordings. The recordings are of extremely poor quality. Some episodes are so bad, the audio is off and the episode(s) look dubbed. Some of the discs are defective and lock up. The CDs are standard recordable CDs that do not include actual series pictures or covers. It is apparent that these episodes were copied by someone sitting in front of the television copying episode after episode - in no particular order. When we responded to Ultimate DVD Shop with our complaint they e-mailed us back a couple times, stating that (1) there was a backlog on the series due to overwhelming demand, (2) a replacement set of the series will ship shortly, and (3) they pride themselves on a quality product. Since then, August 6th, we have never heard another word from them, get no response to phone messages or e-mails, and have seen multiple complaints about this company running a scam. We spent over $170 on this set, and when it comes down to it - all we can picture is some slob sitting in front of 20 televisions with 20 DVD burners and a keg of beer - copying different television series and selling them illegally, against FBI copywrite laws. We just filed a complaint with the Attorney General and the BBB.
