Due to an unsolicited email from Ultra Relief, I requested an on-line sample offer of a "free" trial of their AcaiBerry product. Had to pay $4.87 postage. I received the sample bottle from Performance Health USA and was on my 2nd day of a 5 day trial when another package from Performance Health arrived.

I called the company number as shown on my credit card statement. A very lengthy discussion followed. I asked the lady why I received another package of the product and I was informed of a 10 day trial peiod. I said I did not want the product and if I did I could not pay $79.76 per month. She asked if I could afford $60.00. I said no and do not want the product. She asked if I could afford $40.00. Then, I knew I was dealing with a "shady" outfit and asked her how I could return the package. She informed me to go on-line to gohelpnow for instructions. The form wasn't available. I called the company and was informed that they would send a form. It never arrived!

I called my credit card company and they reversed the charge as it would be disputed.

My credit card company called me on 11/25/08 to inform me that my account would again be charged the $79.76. Reason, Performance Health told them I was wrong as I did not cancel within the 10 day trial period. The problem here is: The sample was charged to my account on 9/15/08 and the automatic supply was charged on 9/24/08. Not a 10 day period. In fact, I was on my 2nd day of the sample when the automatic supply arrived.

I called Performance Health twice on 11/25/08 and the last one I spoke with, Tony A. was very sarcastic. He informed me that I had lost the dispute and there was nothing I could do about it and the credit card company was in agreement with Performance Health. I informed him that I would return the product. He said, "It won't do you any good as they would not inform my credit card company of the return." Again, he said, "You lost and you can't do anything about it." "Its over!"

Contacted my credit card company and was informed to send the product back and to send them (crdit card co) a written dispute, inclosing the proof of receipt by Performance Health. The product was sent back, now I have to wait for acknowledgement of return. At this point I doubt if the company will acknowledege the return.

Ultra Relief or Performance Health, whichever they may be, have highly trained scam artists as representatives that are arrogant/sarcastic.

Since when will an honest company refuse to give credit for a returned product?
