Unique Automotive Repair - Charlie Reeves The honest Mechanic, Charles Reeves Wants to get paid for work not done Dallas, Texas

Charlie Reeves is anything but an honest mechanic. He came and got my mothers car after she was in a minor car accident. I told him the insurance company had been out and would send over the estimate as to what they would pay to get fixed. He fixed the car and finished the repairs before the insurance company had even given him the ok as to what they would pay. The people at my mother insurance agenice were floored by his actions they said they had never known anyone to start work and finish work before they even got and estimate as to what would and would not be paid. This has cause nothing but problems and the only one paying is my elderly mother. She has been paying for a rential car out of pocket for over a month now even after Charlie Reeves finsihed over three weeks ago. He will not return my mothers car to her untill hes paid. He first said he would help my mother with her rental car expense as his add in the Verizion Yellowpages states, but told her he could not because he did not make enough money. The inusurance company called my mother today and told her they did not want to deal with him anymore, he has failed to hand over the documents needed to get things completed and some of the stuff he is claiming to have repaired the insurance company said he did not repair but is trying to get paid for...He wants to get paid to replace the front strut on her car but he did not know that we had just had them replaced and when we gave the information to the insurance company they said he did not replace them but was trying to get paid as if he did. They are the ones who told us to do research as to who he was and all the horrible reviews that are assoicated with his name and past company that he has worked for. I wish I would have done that before we even started working with him he can give a good sales pitch. We are planning on suing him after we get my mothers car back. The inusurance company adivsed us to call the police and have them force him to give my mothers car back to her. We are doing all this today and the inusrance company has sent over all the paper work stating how he has cheated and lied about work that was never done and he is not owed anything else.... Please stay away from this guy if you dont belive me then do research on the name for yourslef....
