United Airlines actually charged me $250.00 USD to add a second bag / piece of luggage that was slightly overweight. In my experience with other airlines all  over the world this should have reasonably been between $50 - $75 total, not a raping me with an outrageously high rate of $250.00.

To make it much worse, the Operating Manager on duty at Munich Airport, Heidi Noe had a major attitude, was dismissive and only angered me more instead of being at all pleasant, curitious, or caring about me as the customer.

YOU posted on a public web site and made a claim about what you were charged.  YOU were then asked very simple questions that YOU refused to answer.

But not only that you went the typical "You must be an employee" route when you don't like what is asked.  Well let me put your mind at ease.   I do not work for this or any other airline.

So let's make this very easy for you...

How many bags?
What was the dimensions of each bag?
What was the weight(in Kilograms since that is apparently your preference) of each bag?
What was the exact amount of each fees and reason for the fee?

Heck I won't even ask you what you consider "slightly" again because I know you won't answer that one.

Do you work for United Airlines, or are you just bored? Regardless, let me be more clear for you. Since I was in Germany at the time, they go by kilograms instead of pounds. They allow up to 23kg for typical luggage and up to 32kg for what they consider 'acceptable' overweight BAGGAGE. Anything more than that is considered CARGO. My suitcase was of typical size and fell within the acceptable typical overweight bagge category, it was not over that amount.

If you work for United I can give you a ticket number and you can look up my reciept. If you do not work for them, then who cares what you could find.

So it was only "Slightly" overweight?  Is that the same as the claim that even though the Warranty is slightly expired that the company should still honor it?

Let me guess they allow 50 lb and your bag was only 51lbs right?  Or perhaps it was more.  Exactly how much over should they allow the weight to be?  1lb, 2lbs, or exactly as many lbs as your bag was over?

I couldn't find anything close to a single $250 fee for a bag.  So curious as to exactly the dimensions and weights of both of your bags and where you were going from/to.  As well as exactly what the breakdown of the fees were.
