On march 6,2005 we purchased a 1998 dodge dakota truck from united auto sales. About 28 days we started having trouble with the steering wheel and some other noises from the frontend of the truck. We call the sales they told us to bring the truck in they would look at the truck. Went to the dealer on april 5,2005

The mechanic dave drove the truck and said there was nothing wrong. After him saying that there was nothing wrong we took into an apartment complex with speed bumps which at that time the mechanic he agreed there was something wrong in the front end and took it back to the lot. At that time he said that there was a bolt out of the left front shock.

The mechanic went to another shop on gentry and got a bolt that appeared to be a used bolt to fix the shock. After that I drove the truck for about fifteen minutes and the noise got worse with the steering wheel pulling up and down. I was convinced that even if I took the truck back to united auto sales it would not be fixed properly. I took the truck to monkey wrench and he(heinz) drove the truck but could not say what it was until he pulled the front wheel off the truck.

At that point he found that the front braking system was ready to fall off the wheels. Further investigation showed that the upper balljoints were bad (r & L)
and the left uper control arm and also the left nuckle (driver side of the truck was bad and would not hold the bolts that are made for that piece. After all that we were told that could not drive the truck until it is fixed.

The owner of united auto sales sent his mechanic over to monkey wrench and stole the left upper balljoint off the truck with out anyone permission from the premises of monkey wrench and went to kragans and to valley tranmission to find out if the part was good at that point everyone told them it was trash and not to put it on any other car or truck.

These people don't want to do anything about selling a car that is bad.
