There is another one out there!!! I just received a call from Rose from United Benefit Service. She said that I was approved for a MasterCard (that I've never applied for) with a credit limit of $2500.00. All she would need is my initial fee of $354.90 from a personal checking/savings account.
When I started to ask questions about who would be issuing the card, can I get the information in the mail, etc... she became hesitant and said that once she has all of my information (including my checking account) that I would be transferred to their verification department who would tell me the issuer of the bank!! (Whatever).
She said all of this had to be done over the phone!!! I have seen this kind of scam before...they collect the fee and send you packet (in 6-10 weeks) that contains secure credit card information and a bunch of other junk. Don't fall for this one!!!
