United Card Services ripoff ALERT! fraudulent ripoff business Buffalo New York

I recieved a call at home on January 30th from a company called United Card Services. They said they had reviewed an application online that I had submitted within the last 18 months and they wanted to offer me a Master Card. I had applied for a few cards online so I didn't assume the call to be fraudulent.

Due to my credit situation they said in order for me to obtain a card they would require a $249.00 deposit. There was no annual fee, no interest, and a 2500 dollar limit. I just had to pay 4.95 every month that I carried a balance. On February 16th the money was withdrawn from my account. I have been calling the 1-888 number I was given to contact my representative Anne and I have gotten the customer service voicemail everytime.

The mailbox is full everytime I call so I cannot leave a message. On March 17th I recieved a letter in the mail from United Card Services dated February 5,2003 that wasn't postmarked untill March 10th. The letter stated that I would receive my Mastercard within 25 day of receiving the letter dated 02/05/02. It is now the 6th of April and I to date have nothing.

I am hoping that I can get my money back but then again who knows.
