I agree with other comments about this company. They are a multi-level-marketing company and thus the reason for their high-priced software! I think the software is effective in some ways but you can go to the internet and buy (around $59) to FREE the same type of software! They make it seem like it's very sophisticated software and it just isn't! Don't waste your money.

Advice from a client/agent/user/poster - Be Sure, Beware.

Some people really can benefit from this product. But ONLY some. If you need discipline and like to spend time inputting your expenses and payments as they occur in real time, and you can afford $3500, if you only have 1 mortgage to pay off, your HELOC can be used as a checking account (or you have a "savings" account that acts like a checking account), if you can be honest and provide the exact balances of all your accounts to get accurate figures, and if you don't mind a NO MONEY BACK guarantee policy, then this program is for you.
Just be aware that there is NO customer satisfaction guarantee. Don't let your salesman tell you different. The only guarantee is there in the first 3 days of signup (not enough time to try out the product) and then a limited guarantee that the product will perform as stated if you follow exact prompts at exact amounts for all those number of years they project - in other words, the proof is your responsibility - so you have to take their word it works, and prove it in real time because they will not give you a full monthly projection for the life of the payoff period. If you decide, on day 6 (allowing for Alaska having 5 days of signup guarantee) you want your money back, or anytime after that, you will NOT get a single cent returned.
My advice is to read the contract before you sign - even if you are all pumped up and raring to go. Delay, and read. Do your research online - don't just read the company's testimonials. Google search this company or program. There are a lot of financial gurus who provide spreadsheets for free resulting in the same results. There are a lot of agents that swear by this product, and there ARE some clients that have been very disappointed with the product. Go in with information and make sure this is right for you.
$3500 is a lot of money, and just using that lump sum amount (or even $29/month) towards principal will save you quite a lot of savings over the life of any loan. Use your brains and your money wisely. If you need a sophisticated software (I think it is pretty), if you don't have the discipline or understanding of getting out of simple debt, if you don't mind a program that shows you just 3 months at a time, and if you understand that there is no refund based on customer satisfaction, then buy it if you feel it will help and use it to the fullest benefit.
Good luck to you in whatever you decide. I wish I had this advice before I bought into this program. It has been a source of frustration communicating with a company that was so warm and willing to take my money in the beginning and so cold and calculating when I discover that it really does not work for me. It is sophisticated, but very limited, in my opinion.
Thank you for your attention.

I don't understand why someone would write to this website when you haven't been ripped off by this company or software. If you think it is a waste of money, that's your opinion, but it is not based upon facts. I am on the program, and it is working well for me. I have paid down $25,000 in principal on my mortgage in 20 months without making substantial changes in my lifestyle, except the program helps me be more disciplined and keeps me on track with my finances. If you haven't used the program yourself, then it is irresponsible to make comments and present a biased opinion when you have no idea what you are talking about. Just because a products is expensive in your mind doesn't make it a scam. You also do not know the difference between network or direct marketing and MLM - there is a difference. Many fine products such as Avon, Tupperware, Discovery Toys and financial services (Primerica) are sold in this manner, but they are legitimate companies. Next time why don't you get ripped off by something before you comment on it.

Have you actually used the program?

Hi Ellen,
You made the statement that, "They make it seem like it's very sophisticated software and it just isn't!" My question is, "Have you actually *used* the program?" I would hazard a guess that you've at least never actually used it to it's fullest potential recently. If you are currently a client, I highly encourage you to contact client support for additional training in some of the features listed below.
Of its many features, the software can do things like show you how a desired purchase would affect your debt payoff date, it can show the "true cost" of an item by assessing things like how diverting funds to that purchase affects the amount of extra mortgage interest you'll have to pay with a change in debt payoff date, it can calculate the best time of month to buy an item based on your personal financial situation, and it even has text messaging features so if for example you're standing at the car dealership debating on buying that new car, you can ask the system how it will affect your finances (mortgage payoff date, additional interest you'd pay on your overall debt by diverting current discretionary money, etc) and get an answer texted to you right there on the spot.
This year's updates allow it to handle multiple properties. It allows you to determine how aggressively you want to attack your debt. And there's even an option available for people like me who sometimes forget to pay our bills by the due date...no more late fees! :0)
If it's not sophisticated, then I'm not sure what is...And I hope that if you are currently a client you'll begin to get the full benefit from the program! I've seen it change people's lives in the town where I live.
