 I cannot stress enough to upcoming moving consumers to "stay away from the moving company known as United Movers Group Inc!" They are still supposedly transporting my household goods 2+ weeks after pickup. They left my $1400 bed back in my old house. They left an entire room of labeled and numbered boxes (their labels!) back at my old house in another state! And they charged me for all of that stuff on my inventory! Unfortunately I was too busy outside making sure they loaded the truck correctly because they were leaving huge spaces empty, that I didn't know they had left all that stuff behind until they were gone! Then, they tripled my cost from $3200 to almost $10k, stating I had much more than planned! When I challenged them on the space, they said they made a mistake in the calculations and added more space for me on the truck. I had to borrow $3700 more to just get them to take my stuff! Then they told me that the truck they loaded would be going directly to my new home in another state, and would not be transferred to a Semi. They lied!

On the date my items were due, I called to find out where they were and was informed that they didn't know where they were but they knew they were on a Semi with other people's moves. I have made over 50 calls to this fraudulent company and either they never answer the phone, answer promising to get my info, or promise to call me right back with an update. Nobody has told me yet when my stuff will get here, where it is, or whether they will adjust my bill for the items left behind. I have filed complaints with the DOT, the BBB, and the Attorney General for their home state. When I finally got ahold of somebody, he informed me that I needed to change my attitude while talking to him or he would hang up on me. He then quoted "the Contract," stating that if I had read it, I would know that they can take 3 weeks, or 21 business days, to deliver my stuff. I reminded him that the supervisor on pickup day told me they would come straight to my new home. He said he didn't know why he told me that. I told him that the movers left behind a full room of boxes plus my bed and I was extremely upset that I got charged for those items. He told me he didn't know anything about that and I should wait until delivery to see what was delivered! He kept threatening to hang up and "do nothing for" me if I continued to be angry and "take it out on him." How does one remain calm with this kind of fraud, terrible customer service, inflated unreasonable prices, and the kidnapping literally of ones "life?!" And every Rep I've managed to get to answer the phone has told me he or she "does not care" if I go to the BBB, the DOT, or the Attorney General, or the media for that matter! They say they are NOT concerned about ANY of those entities. And they tell me basically to shut up, wait for my stuff and pay their bill!

I'm so upset and frustrated by this company! This has been one of the most horrible situations I have ever been in. And United Movers Group Inc has made it abundantly clear that they don't care who I contact because they are not concerned about anything or anyone! I want to contact the media and scream this from the mountaintops! If you cherish your household and personal stuff, and don't want to be financially drained, then stay away from United Movers Group Inc! They will hijack your items, lie to you about how much space you're using, overcharge you by 3x the initial quote, take their time delivering to you, keep you in suspense about when you'll get your stuff, be rude on the phone or never answer you at all, threaten you with holding your stuff in storage if you don't pay their exaggerated fees, flip you off like you're a nobody and literally laughingly dare you to turn them in! And finally, they will charge you for whole rooms of items they left behind but included on the truck inventory!

I wish someone could please tell me who I can complain to about this company that believes it is almighty and untouchable? They have no business even operating with a DOT number! They are rude, uncaring crooks! And If you read anything positive about them, I would strongly urge you to question its authenticity! Can anyone help?

 Hello I'm so sorry this has happened to you. I would like to know has this matter has been resolved and if so how did you go about obtaining your furniture? Any information would be greatly appreciated. My parents happen to be going through the exact same ordeal with this company.
