 Administrator,

We purchased a home in October 2009 paid one year for the Insurance cost $815.00 Citizens. Received back after short rated $501.00 Policy was cancel 12/15/09 by Citizens because we would not pay an rate was increased to over $2,400. for one year after we were given a $815. quote.

Then the Insurance agent who low balled us to get the business then placed us with United Property & Casualty Insurance Company on 12/15/09 we paid approximately $350.00 first payment, then a invoice for the second payment of $374.00 came and was paid. The check just cleared now we received a notice of cancellation on 3/7/10 amount to be refunded is $30.50.

Reason for cancellation (failure to comply with underwriting requirements or guidelines). Never knew that there was a peroblem. Still waiting for a refund from the Insurance Company on the home we sold that was cancelled back in December 2009. We are feeling RIPED OFF by the Insurance Agent and Insurance Companies, Need help.

Sincerely,
