A representative who went by the name "Rashanda" called my cell phone in an attempt to collect a debit from Capital One. Rashanda was rude and told me they have confirmed that I have assests and they will go after them. I found this very funny as I have no known assests. Rashanda further related that this is a charge off and if that is true and if in fact United Recovery was a seperate entity from Capital One, they would know that as a charge of Capital One could not care less if they get this money. Just proof that there are a lot of uneducated individuals attempting to call themselves professionals in the field of collections.
When I told Rashanda that I will make payment arrangements, she asked if I wanted the address and when I said yes, she hung up. What a scam! Capital One AKA United Recovery , Get a life this information can be researched!
I do not respond well to threats and I am very familiar with the Fair Credit Reporting Act !
