We attended a 90 minute presentation in Tarrytown NY by a group calling itself United Reservations Service. It appears to be a scam preying on retired people.  They offered and left no information about themselves, no address, no website, no telephone number, no names.  I'd like to find others who attended sessions like this with this outfit.

I would like to share my experience with United Reservation Services.  I had received information about a 90 minute meeting to explain their services.  When I showed up at the appointed time, there was no one there.  I, too, thought it might be a scam.

However, I called the phone number on the postcard and found out that the new person who had set up the appointment was not aware of the fact that the sales people had left two days earlier from Louisiana.  The manager gave me Mr. Brandon Vidal's phone number.  He is the Director of Customer Relations and Owner Services with United Reservation Services.

Mr. Vidal was very professional and clearly conveyed his concern for my welfare.  He spent a great deal of time with me on the phone reassuring me about the company's customer service attitudes and beliefs.  I have been provided me with my free gift vouchers, as well as some additional specials for my time.  He has followed up with email and phone calls to be sure that everything is as I expected.

I have not agreed to any participation in their travel club.  Because of Mr. Vidal and Mr. Issac, I am willing to consider their travel club as a possibility.  Their attitudes of doing "whatever it takes to make it right" has convinced me that they are part of a reputable company that deserves a chance and a second look.

One of the basic rules of this site is you CANNOT post "rumors, speculation, or innuendo unless you have personal knowledge that your statements are TRUE."

This is certainly what you have done, though, Peter H.  I assure you and anyone else reading this.....we have age guidelines in order to even GET IN to our presentation.  You MUST be between the ages of 30 and 72.  One MUST ALSO make a certain amount of money, as a household, in order to GET IN to our presentation.  If a family DOES NOT make AT LEAST $50k a year, WE DON'T LET THEM IN...more than likely THEY WON'T BE ABLE TO USE OUR VOUCHER OR OUR SERVICES!!

Your claim is based on your own opinion of our presentation mixed w/ the stigmas society is so quick to place on anyone trying to succeed at something.  We understand that people are out there to do bad, WE ARE NOT ONE OF THEM!
 
We have an "A" Rating with the BBB.  2 complaints in over 6 years, one of which was meant for another company and is being removed from our file.....LEAVING US WITH 1 COMPLAINT IN 6+ YEARS.

Your claim that we "prey on the retired" is proposterous and treads close to libel, sir.  Please refrain from posting "opinions" based on nothing but your skewed view of it all.   If you have questions about us or who we are, you can reach me personally at bvidal@unitedres.com. 

Should you have a legitimate reason for being upset, I AM MORE THAN HAPPY TO TALK WITH YOU.  I will determine your claim via email and then decide if we need to talk on the phone or not.  This is how I propose to address ANYONE who claims that we are anything but honest. 

I am a United States Marine, every day of my life, as well as a High School Varsity Lacrosse Coach for McKinney High, in McKinney, TX.  We DO NOT associate ourselves with anyone who is less than honest or of the highest integrity. 

It is IMPOSSIBLE to make 100% of people happy 100% of the time, Peter H.  I understand that.  There ARE other people of the same opinion as you.... there are also MANY MANY people who feel differently than you, as evident in our continued growth, the ONE complaint we have with the BBB and the fact that YOU, sir, are the only individual on this site claiming that we "prey on the retired"?????    

In final, you know nothing about what we actually do, sir.  You made "ZERO" calls to our travel club to check on a quote, you spoke to no one about the resorts available through URS nor the prices of those resorts for a week.   If you HAD, you'd have a different opinion.  For you to say that you weren't given a name, a contact or anything, is ALSO ridiculous, sir.  Our contacts are all over our paperwork.   If you had a LEGITIMATE COMPLAINT, file it with the Better Business Bureau so that we may have an opportunity to table the issue......  instead of randomly posting to a site that we are dishonest and hoping we don't ever take the time to stand up to people like yourself.  Our integrity means everything to us.

This entire claim is baseless and an opinion of your own.... NOT FACT.... you have absolutely NO PROOF for your claim and WE, however, are more than able to accommodate you if you are a member of our Travel Club.  We have thousands of members and have for years.  If you have questions, please feel free to contact me via email anytime.
