There are 1,000's of soldiers that have been ripped off by the United State Army, but they have been trained/brainwashed not to report it.  The problem is when the military decided to offer $50,000 in a college loan repyament program to enlist as grunts.  WHAT THEY DIDN'T COUNT ON was the fact that if you have $50,000 in college debt, you may be enlisting as a grunt, but you probably have quite of bit of education under your belt.

Problem:  Soldier like me were promissed $50,000 to be paid on our college loans.  So as a 5th grade school teacher who can't afford his college loans on his teaching salary, I made a deal to kill people for the United States Army in exchange for them to pay $50,000 directly to my college loans.  GUESS WHAT:  IN ONE HAND THEY OFFERRED $50,000 THEN THEY TOOK BACK 25% IN THE OTHER HAND AND CALLED IT TAXES...AS THEY CHUCKLED, LAUGHED AND CALLED IN POLICY (didn't you read the fine print).

SOLDIERS LESS FORTUNATE THAN ME:  Other US soldiers who may have had $6,000 in debt from a community college got that loan paid off.  However these  young guys who didnt' have much money, were hit with $1,500 tax bills by Uncle Sam at the end of the year.  These "kids" don't have $1,500!  They were just like me...we needed that $175 per month in drill pay and to earn a little extra money to pay our bills.

I've filed every grievance known to mind.  What the military didn't expect was a "credible" 40+ year old "grunt" soldier with a Master's degrees calling them on their recruiting tactics.  You see, I have a hunch I'm not the only soldier to claim he was lied to by a United States Military recrtuier.  So many before me were certainly ripped off and mislead.  Not only was I told IN WRITING I'd receive $50,000 towards my college loans, but I was told IN WRITING that they would pay for my PhD as well.

After a formal hearing with JAG officers present, a Major said, "Well it's here in black and whate that recruiter said we would pay for your PhD (in an email).  But it's against policy.  So you can file for an erronious enlistment."

How dishonorable would that have been?  I signed up both for college help and to serve my county.

IF ANYONE IS CONNECT...PLEASE HELP ALL OF US.  I'VE CALLED MITCH MCCONELL.  RAND PAUL.  BRETT GUTHRIE.  EITHER THEY HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY MESSAGES OR THEY ARE IGNORING ME.

This just all seems un-American.
