In January 2006 I attended a golf school run by USSOG. One of the things that attracted me to this organization was the fact that they offered a $200 rebate. Now I know about the fine print regarding the rebate claim being postmarked within a certain time frame but surely given the amount of money I spent initially you would think that they would be flexible in this regard.
OK so I didn't get the date right and I'm out of pocket $200 which is my own silly fault, but what was most disappointing was the way they began to attack me when I started to ask questions about their policy. There is a way to conduct yourself in business and belittling customers when they begin to ask questions is not one of them. There is absolutely no respect for customer service with this organization.

I remeber this customer very well. Not sure why he states that the rebate was a rip off. Instruction where very very clear and not in small letter as he states.
1st - when he call he was very nasty and pushy.
2nd - when he was explained that he had sent his information in incorrectly, he went ballistic, treatening to sue, call and write everybody.
3rd - We calmly tried to explain that we could not break the guideline for him, he even went more ballistic.
4th - Finally we tried to offer him a $200.00 gift card to make him happy, customer made more very rude remarks and hang up.
5th - Customer satisfaction is very important too us and we finally sent him $200.00 to make him a happy customer. But have never heard back for this indivdual again. Some times customers just want the world and sometimes we just have to try to give them everything they demand. We hope this customer understand our position and I'm sure he had a wonderful golf school vacation. Because that it what we do, golf school vacations.
