Maybe Christy is just uninformed, but as UVN's "legal council" she should at least look it up before she threatenes slander. I did and found that someone filed a fraud case and paid $255.00 to file it on 07/18/07 in Pinellas County, Fl.

In Christy's defense she is probably too busy refusing victim's money back, responding to Better Business Bureau complaints, and Ripoff Report rebuttals to find any time to do research!

Thank you to whoever filed this fruad case and I'm hoping that it is a class action lawsuit. Please keep us informed on the lawsuit - I for one will help in any way I can.

UVN & Christy Daniel

AUTHOR: Public Citizen - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 07, 2007

Let's talk about the real facts behind the UVN operation. For starters, I suspect Michelle is not really a UVN member. On another website, a person named Steve Hempfling claimed he was a member and praised UVN. Further investigation reveals that Steve is Christy's boyfriend. They live together at the same address. I doubt anyone who is a UVN member is happy unless they actuallly enjoy being victimized. Christy's status as a felon should make everyone who has financial information and bank accounts with UVN lose sleep at night. Christy falsified documents and stole money from her former employer, Suntasia, who ironically just got raided by the feds for major telemarketing fraud as a travel agency/network in Largo.

As for the claim the UVN has nothing to do with the marketing companies that promise the free gifts and vouchers, that is an ABSOLUTE LIE. Heather Garris, the UVN Office Manager, is also listed as the Manager of Blowfish Media, which is one of the companies UVN uses to send out the postcards offering the "free" cruise. Heather works at UVN and at Blowfish Media. (Their offices are both located in Largo, not very far from each other). So there is definitely a link between the marketing outfits and UVN. Besides, do they think we're stupid? How could UVN sales people just show up to do the sales pitch unless they were in communication and doing business with the marketing companies? They certainly don't do it for free.

Of course, Donna Loher, the President of UVN, knows all of the above. She herself is no stranger to violating the law because just last year the State of Florida obtained an injunction against UVN and one of her many affiliate companies (the Pita Group) for violating the Do Not Call Registry law. UVN/Pita Group paid a fine, agreed to shut down their telemarketing operation, and are under a permanent injunction. Within a few days after that lawsuit was filed by the State, Heather Garris established Blowfish Media at the same offices used by the Pita Group to violate the law, and now they do the telemarketing and postcards to potential victims.

ALL of the above information is public record. Most of it is accessible over the internet. The bottom line is you have a network of companies with a convicted felon running legal interference for UVN, an Office Manager who doubles as a Manager for one of the marketing "affiliates" and a President with a history of violating the telemarketing laws. Hmmm... sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.

Christy, no answer to the accusations of your prison time and probation...?

AUTHOR: John Doe - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, August 06, 2007

Why is it that Christy Daniel A.K.A. Legal Council has nothing to say about the accusations of her time in prison for Grand Theft over $100,000.00? Funny how she's so quick to defend a company that is defrauding not just the elderly, but people with a bad sense of judgement, but has nothing to say about herself. I have been watching these rip-off reports and waiting for her response. I'm by no means in law enforcement... but if you're a convicted felon for grand theft OVER $100,000.00 I am a bit curious why she is able to access account information and financial information on all the members. Are any of you concerned about that? I would be if I was a member of this "club".

Looking forward to your response...

Who Cares

AUTHOR: Michelle - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, August 05, 2007

I am sick and tired of hearing how horrible you think this company is.. I have traveled many times with this company and have a great time on vacation every time. It appears you people have nothing better to do but talk about this company. My theory of this is atleast they are big enough to talk about. This is really sad to see on a company that has never done me wrong.

Class Action

AUTHOR: Public Citizen - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, August 02, 2007

First, it is not inaccurate, much less libelous, to say that a class action is pending. The complaint does plead a class action. The court has not yet certified it as a class action. But that day will soon come. Second, Christy Daniel is not an attorney even though she claims to be one. In fact, she is a convicted felon who is currently on probation for grand theft of more than $100,000. Here is the link to that information. http://www.dc.state.fl.us/InmateReleases/detail.asp?Bookmark=1&From=list&SessionID=250845899

Those are the facts in this matter.

If you are a "lawyer"

AUTHOR: D - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 01, 2007

you should know this is not slander. When it is in writing it is libel. If you are not a lawyer, then you should not be trying to represent your employee status as if you are a lawyer. Whether you have stated it or not, in this report, your attempt at a proper verbage does "imply" acting as a lawyer. Use caution. No, I am not a lawyer, but I do IC work for several. Just some friendly advice.
