Our customers are the face of our business and their satisfaction is of the utmost importance. We value our customers above all else, and look forward to continually improving so that their experiences with United Water Restoration Group, Inc. remain strong, consistent and positive”.

United Water Restoration Group, Inc. is committed to 100% customer satisfaction and has made every possible effort to ensure that all customers have a positive experience while at their business.

The information provided in this report below is based on comments made by Edward Garber, Zoltan Kurucz, Endre Banfi, and Lajos Nagy during an on-site inspection held by a third party verification company with no biases toward United Water Restoration.

United Water Restoration’s target market is any home or property owner who has had a disaster such as fire, water, or mold. About 98% of their clients are residential properties with about 90% of them being single family homes. The company can also provide commercial services including hospitals and most notably a CompUSA location that risked going out of business due to mold damage. Besides a high standard for customer satisfaction, the company feels they are set apart because they are independent and not hired by the client’s insurance company. United Water Restoration has been in business for more than 7 years and average about 5000 customers annually. They are a part of the Broward County/South Florida Chamber of Commerce and hold numerous required licenses including biohazard and general contractor. All complaints are personally handled by upper management as they feel they take a vested interest in the customer experience.

The company’s sales process beings with standard business marketing through every possible media outlet and advertisements not limited to billboards, magazines, yellow pages and independent sales representatives. This is done to generate leads from various homeowners and from there in the event of any emergency such as fire, water damage and mold, the consumer can then contact the company for assistance. The response team is available 24 hours a day and contacts the customer within 5 minutes and can usually be on-site within 30-45 minutes. The company feels it is imperative that the customer is made aware the company is not hired by the insurance company and remains a separate entity when the contract is signed.

During the pre-sales briefing process, the company explains that technicians are professionally trained and certified. Additionally, post work inspections are completed by quality control and upper management. Consumers can also be provided with an emailed image of their technician along with the consumer being aware that if the individual is not within company policy for dress code and identification, no work is to be completed.

Currently, the company has had internal processes needing improvement in regards to their tracking system. Furthermore, they have weekly meetings with employees and technicians to brief them on any updates within the company. The company stated that their hiring process is more stringent as each potential employee goes through an extensive background check through MacData. Once hired, technicians must be certified through IICRC and trained how to perform their job efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

The company states that their most common complaints stem from consumers either with the misunderstanding of their contract and/or are trying to get a discount on their deductible amount which they are responsible for through their homeowner’s insurance. The consumer may not be educated properly on their insurance coverage and that lack of knowledge passes on to the company via customer experience. They stated that some customers have very high deductibles cleared that are not covered by the company however they have various payment options available and presented by the technicians. Another complaint would be in regards to a technician not showing up on time.

The standard practices for resolution goes through upper management who personally visits each job site upon being contacted through the proper channels. The deductibles are cleared with the consumer proper to the sale and they have to sign off on it. In regards to the technician punctuality, a tracking system has been put in place to assist with monitoring the location of the technicians and also providing feedback to the customer.

An example of this was when a client in Orlando had a minimal service need but had a high deductible of $2,500 and did not want to file a claim. A lower cash option was offered and she wasn’t happy with the result so the job was done essentially for free and was given the option to seek the services of another provider and she would be reimbursed. The client was satisfied with this option.

Since the complaints on Ripoff Report, United Water Restoration has put quality control systems into effect with various managers in each district that handle most issues and visit each location. These districts span from Orlando, Jacksonville to Pompano Beach, FL. Technicians are IICRC certified and are required to wear company uniform with logo and name tag at job sites. The company also makes it mandatory for technicians to leave business cards to provide channels of communication to the consumer.

The company stated that the majority of the complaints posted on Ripoff Report are stemming from the actions of a former disgruntled employee. The employee was under surveillance by the company because they were not efficient in their position by using their computer for extracurricular activities. Within a few days after the employee left, the company stated the first report was filed on the site. They feel it is rare for any issue to go as far as Ripoff Report because upper management handles any and all issues for consumers.

United Water Restoration is happy to be a part of the Corporate Advocacy Business Remediation and Customer Satisfaction Program because of the image and reputation it provides. They feel it is very important that eligibility is maintained for this program and the efforts of Ripoff Report being an intermediary are greatly appreciated and all cooperation will be given as required.

Additionally, within the company they make sure that the customer is satisfied regardless of the situation before confirming completion. The customer has the option of various payment plans in the event their deductible may not be affordable for them. They feel that relations are to be built and maintain with the customer along with property managers wherever necessary. Furthermore, timeliness and professionalism is a top priority and customer confirmed invoices are required upon completion of work. Overall, the company believes in going above and beyond for the customer whenever necessary.

United Water Restoration Group Inc United Reconstruction Group, Florida Public Adjusters holly hill, Florida

This company truly takes advantage of this economy. They will go into your home to take care of water damage or flooding and charge for things that were not done and put prices on their invoice that blow others in this industry away! They pay plumbers a finders fee to the tune of $660 and pass it on the the customer and the insurance company. There is nothing wrong with paying for a lead, but this company pays cash and does not pay taxes on this nor do they make the plumber. The owners are foreign and they openly express that they think Americans are idiots!

Absolutely Outrageous.

AUTHOR: Michael Trident - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, December 08, 2011

My name is Mike and I live in Daytona Beach. As a customer of United Water Restoration, I must say I'm appalled at the level of slander being slug about this company. I own several rental properties in the area, and have been using this company for years, on multiple occasions. The only thing I see on this site is a bunch of talk about how United treats their ex-employees bad. So I have a few points I'd like to make.

#1. As said before, I've used United for years, and have always been 100% happy with all work performed, and have always been treated with class, respect, courtesy, and decency.

#2. Ripoff Report is supposed to be for reporting companies who scam/ripoff customers, so far all you people have complained about is ex employees and how they get "leads".

#3. I have had the pleasure of visiting their office on more than 1 occasion, and have also met everyone who works their, including the owners. And what is being said here cannot be further from the truth. Amanda and Connie have always greeted me kindly, and have been very professional. Jason, one of their technicians, has always been thorough, professional, and even invited me to a Magic game one time. Awesome guy. And this crap about the owners being racist and prejudiced is complete BS. I'm white, most of their employees are white, and we're all American. Saying they hate white people and Americans is a total farce. They sure employee alot of people they hate...

#4. I have always been happy with the way they handle everything, including the state, insurance companies, and even you guys. This company has nothing but class, and I will be using them for as long as I live, despite your attempts to slander them because you lost your job. Obviously you are disgruntled and can't accept the fact you were fired. Frankly, with this kind of attitude, I doubt you'll ever work for anyone...

This is not an ex-employee, this is from a group of individuals that have had business dealings with United Water Restoration Group Inc and United Reconstruction Group as well. This has been on on going investigation...and many business owners are involved. Although there is no shortage of former employees that have been wronged, this is not the case.

POSTED: Monday, December 05, 2011

If this is a legitimate complaint and bad business practice of giving referral fees back and tipping Public Adjusters, you need only to report them to the DFS in Tallahasse on line. They will investigate each complaint at MYFLORIDACFO.COM . Its a felony since May 17th 2011 to give referral fees back (over $25.00 gift in value) and if they are working in tandem with Public Adjusters to do so, they may be in violation of other State Statues. If they are giving claim adjusting advise on insurance coverage applicable and filing claims as a representative for the homeowner, they have violated more laws. Many contractors think they know insurance coverage, since they bought a house once.

Let it be known that United Water Restoration Group INC has never not had a former employee leave with any sort or respect for the company. In fact, the same goes for people they have tried to hire...The example below is how this company "hired" someone and then "retracted" their offer. This letter is to the person (Karen) United hired and was sent back from her with the applicants comments.
Let it also be known that there are at least 20 ex-employees that either left United Water Restoration Group Inc. or had been fired because they were treated with less respect you would give a dead roach! Obviously United has caused enough upset that people go out of their way to educate the public that they are undeserving of the consumers business, especially that of the insurance companies which allows them to think they can charge what they want without consequence to the economy and homeowner's ins. rates!
____________________________________________________________________________
Dear Karen,

After careful consideration,

United Water Restoration has decided to retract the offer of employment. We regret that you may not be the right candidate for this position.
Some of the reasons include, your hesitation to gladly accept our offer (OFFER WAS ACCEPTED ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 27 AT CONCLUSION OF INTERVIEW), your inquiries to the former employees negative postings
(NO INQUIRIES WERE MADE; SUBJECT WAS TOUCHED UPON TO MAKE COMPANY AWARE OF SITUATION SO THAT ANY NECESSARY STEPS COULD BE TAKEN TO RECTIFY THE NEGATIVE PUBLICITY),
and the estimated 25 minute drive you will have to get to work (DURING INTERVIEW THIS TOPIC WAS DISCUSSED AND DID NOT POSE AN ISSUE- WAS GIVEN OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT AFTER THIS DISCUSSION). We do not want any employee to begin working with our company who seems hesitant about working here, and it appears that you may not be the right candidate for this position (STATEMENT IS VERY CONTRADICTORY TO THE DISCUSSION THAT TOOK PLACE WITH YOUR OFFICE STAFF AFTER THE INTERVIEW). We do not want to waste your time, and have you come to work only to decide that you are not a good fit
(AFTER DEALING WITH THE EXTREME UNPROFESSIONAL-ISM OF YOUR ORGANIZATION I WOULD HAVE TO AGREE WITH THIS STATEMENT- I WOULD NOT BE A GOOD FIT. I AM ACCUSTOMED TO WORKING WITH NATIONAL, AS WELL AS INTERNATIONAL COMPANIES WHO OBTAIN THE UTMOST PROFESSIONALISM AND BUSINESS PRACTICES. IT APPEARS THAT YOUR COMPANY IS LACKING IN THESE KEY AREAS THAT PLAY A VITAL ROLE IN THE SUCCESS OF A COMPANY.), so to save you time and trouble, we have decided not to sign you on as an employee.

Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have.

Thank you very kindly for applying with United Water Restoration, and we wish you the best of luck in your employment search. (BEST WISHES TO YOUR ORGANIZATION IN YOUR ASPIRATIONS TO ACHIEVE A NATIONAL LEVEL BUSINESS SCOPE.)

Just another bit of Public Information for the consumer: How a company treats their employees is a direct reflection on the overall morals and ethics (or lack thereof) that is implemented within the fiber of a companies business practices.

United Water Restoration's Response

AUTHOR: United Water Restoration - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, December 02, 2011

In response to this report, United Water Restoration would like to say that this was not posted by a customer, but by a former employee who is making FALSE allegations. We have a great reputation with our customers and in the community. We intend to take necessary steps to find out who this individual is.

Rip-off report should be a forum for customers and consumers, NOT for disgruntled employees that create unnecessary drama and hardships for hardworking individuals.

Thank you for taking time to read our rebuttal, and remember rip-off report is not a reliable source of information, only a website which was meant for actual consumers to post about their experience with a company, whether it is true or false. There is no way to protect the individual/company being slandered on a website such as this.

We would like to wish any of our customers reading this a safe and Happy Holiday Season!
