This letter sent by tom the broker is total B.S., I called the Coast Guard Documentation center and they confirmed they never got involved with any Key West boat auction, nor do they give permission for anyone to sell other peoples boats. This falsified information by this broker was clearly done to discredit Robert the poster and this broker was stupid enough to confirm it by e mail. Then he makes another false statement saying an " enormous amount of back storage was due". You have said all along no money was due and i believe you didn't even have a written lease.
