"We’re sorry to receive Mr. ZalecK’s complaint. Although he’s requesting a refund he does not qualify at this time. "

My response to this insulting statement; This above statement/opening of Universal CEO is very poor worded, is arrogant, and intentionally insulting and degrading statement. What is tells me, is All the rest bow, because God himself is speaking! I paid almost three thousands of dollars and they didn’t even care to spell my name correctly.

I finished all the requirements to fulfill their "terms and conditions." I did n’t received from UAC anything that said I didn’t completed, or came short when I finished all the requirements. I requested the refund according to their UAC terms and condition and here this CEO of UAC has nerve to tell all that "Although he’s requesting a refund he does not qualify at this time. " What that tells me, and others, "I got your money, and now get lost you moron!"

I have witnesses that were with me at the time when I went on the link and filled in the necessary information. The first square where there needs to be some date there didn’t take the date, even after the rest of the information was filled, their link didn’t took the message. The rest of the page worked okey. When I clicked to sent the page it always returned that it can’t be send because I need to type in the date.

I Followed the advise from UAC with the browsers, computers and all that. I used the library computers to do it, and changed 4 or so stations, clean the browsers and all that. It didn’t worked as I wrote to them.

When all didn’t worked (Early November 2104) I asked for alternatives, and if I will not hear from them withing a week, I am sending the program to the address on their return able on the package the program came in. I didn’t heard from the UAC about till today.

Since I didn’t received any cooperation/answer from UAC I sent the package back with invoice for $2,995.00 the net amount of the program, after subtracting the shipping cost. They refused to take returned package, and it was sent back to me, and I, in return, refused to accept their package. I am not in possession of their program since early December 2014.

On Jan 6th., 05 I sent a letter via postal service with the account statement to this address and it was return, " Attempted Not Known" in red ink stamp, and hand written "ANK" in blue ink.

I asked may local postal clerk here in Hillsboro what that means and I was told, "They (post office) don’t know anyone by that name at this at this address..."

During the course time I had one or two communications with the "instructor." Basically, I was on my own all the time struggling with their program. There never was a human-to-human inter-reaction between us. I was just unwanted case number there, after I paid all in cash up front for their PTP program. I shouldn’t do that, pay all $2,995.00 up-front. I learned that the ethical and honesty between the UAC owners and the rest of the world are polar opposites.

I gave UAC a fair shot at earning their money from me. I have no problem with it. However, there are many reasons that UAC didn’t met my expectations., thus I did requested the full refund as per their "terms and conditions."

The total refund amounts to $3,111.27 as explained in attached 2nd sent statement of the account sent to the UAC address on their website and which is on the package. (End of the response to BBB in Salt Lake City)

@Tyg...

There is no time limit on the programs they offer. You can take as much time as you need to do it. I can’t go there in person, because it is close to 1,000 miles, more or less.

They stopped responding to my e-mails/communications.

Since their web page had some glitch, I’d assume, I send the required info via regular e-mail. They never objected to it. They just fell off the planet. They broke off the communications.

I returned the package.

I sent two letter via postal service and they got returned, "Attempted Not Know" in red ink postal stamp, and hand written, buy the mail man, "ANK" on the envelope.

Their address is not valid or they are not there. Where would you go there in person when regular post mail get returned by the US post office?

If you went there and they are not there, what would you do then?

Tyg, I paid up front all money. I gave them chance to earn it. There never was a human-to-human communication between me and the "instructor." I was on my own.

I paid premium price for the service which was below poor level.

Tyg, if you pay up-front three thousands of dollars, you’d expect to be treated with respect, and get all the attention that you paid for.

It was not the case here.

They didn’t scratched the surface in getting my "expectations." I have legitimate reasons to request, and to receive all the money I paid to Universal Accounting.

Tyg, if you would live in Oregon and be my client, you will learn what service means. I don’t put conditions on the refunds. I’d never ask "why" for refund. To me asking "why" is begging. I don’t beg for clients, and I don’t expect them to beg for the service they pay. I have been taken few times on it, but that was all, just few times in over 30 years of my services. That is very good record anyway you look at it.

I have some clients that have the same view as you do on BBB. I am not surprised about it at all. Anyone can pay BBB for A+ rating, and I agree with you. One of my clients tried to not to renew next year membership with BBB and the hell broke loose on him. It was terrible!

Tyg, I don’t say what I will do. Many reasons why. I learned a lot in these 30 years. I just do it, then the message gets more and proper attention. Definitively things are coming their way.

Thanks for your comment although.

Im sorry to say this but I can tell you WHY you didn't get a refund. Its because in THIER EYES you used the program and got what YOU wanted from it and are returning it having gotten the benefit of said SOFTWARE!!! Its unfortunate but YOU had MANY WAYS to get in contact with them. I see email/computer communication attempts. I then see that YOU snail mailed them. Did you pick up the phone? Did YOU go there IN PERSON to attempt resolution? And lastly, Did you meet the terms and conditions of a refund? I ask this because SOME PEOPLE tend to ONLY see what THEY WANT!!!!

Were you beyond the time frame for a return?? If you didn't get the information to THEM in the timeframe allowed then THEY are NOT going to buy a "computer problem". To THEM you had the ability to order said item off the web, but YOU don't have the ability to properly request a refund. I ask these questions because sometimes it can be the smallest of mistakes that keeps YOU from getting a refund. Its unfortunate but it is what it is. YOU are half right in YOUR assumption. THEY DO HAVE YOUR MONEY!!!! But its NOT "get lost loser". It IS about combatting all the FRAUD they have to deal with given the nature of online shopping. I know this sucks for you and almost 3k in cash is hard to lose. But as I said before, it IS what it IS.

THEY think YOU are someone who is attempting to SCAM THEM!!! YOU have to work and get past THAT before YOU are going to see any refund. Good Luck!! P.S. Really??? YOU went to the BBB? REal quick bit of info for you. The BBB HAS NO TEETH!!!!! You can PAY to have an A+ ratting on the BBB. Terrorist groups have an A+ ratting on the BBB!! So I applaud your efforts but the BBB is USELESS for EVERY CONSUMER IN AMERICA!!!!!! You would have better luck taking this group to small claims court. Its an amount UNDER 5000 so you have a shot!!
