Universal Funpass They called me in the morning on december 15 2008 telling me i won something and next thing i knew i was giving my credit card number and 700$ was charged for a travel that i didnt ask.Plus the fact that im french, i misunderstood what was it. I ask for a refund but they didnt want and visa cant refund me too. I dont even know if they gonna provide me with this service. Atlanta Georgia

One morning,they called me telling me iwon something,im french and my english is not perfect at all.After a bit of talking about universal studios and stuff i ended up giving my credit card number.

Next thing i knew 700$ canadian was charge on it but i instantanatly told them to cancel it.But she said it was too late.So I canceled the credit card and called them for a week to ask for a refund.They finally called me back after 5 days and called visa in a 3 persons conversation on the phone telling them that they cant refund me cuz i had agree with some no refund reglementation.

Anyway,they didnt want to refund me and visa too.So im really scared that its not a real travel agency and they not gonna provide me with the servece that i had paid for.I plan to bring my familly there and i dont want to get them in trouble cuz i got totally screw by them.

Does anybody know anything about this universalfunpass company and waht they do.

I was also happy to talk with this lady of the billing department,she sended me a cheque but i guess she didnt know what she was doing cause they called me a week after to tell me that the cheque has been canceled and to destruct the cheque or send it back.

She said the cheque was canceled cause they are in a big procedure(somthin like that)with the ripoff report website cause we write things that are not true about them.Everythings that is on this website are just the facts and the story.

So i hope that the ripoffreport website is trying to get everybodys money back on prooving that they are a fraud company(I hope so..)and make them close.She said that its gonna take couple of months before a decision is take and everybody is gonna be contact on time.(probably bullshit)

So im gonna try to do like nichole said and contact my credit card compagny to ask for an appeal.But this credit card has already been canceled.....

anyway,I just hope i will not have to write again about all this crap.Im totally pissed off.I will never recomend this company to anybody ITS A BIG s**t.

I hate you universalfunpass!!!!!Shame on you!!!

I just realize there is no way to erase my complaint and i understand that.I just want to let people know that they are not ripping people off like i touhgt.
They a really good travel agency,flexible and not expensive.Its just a bad idea to call people home in canada cause after what happens we are breaking they're reputation and of course they dont want that.

They were really nice to me they said they gonna send me a cheque if i take this off but i guess its too late.All i can do is saying good stuff about them and if they dont refund me...what can i do

I think they are a really trustable travel agency now that i understand that, maybe i wil take a trip with them later.I still have the promotion which is really good.I will send all the people that i know wants to go to florida to them cause i trust them now.

finally they called me after hearing that i filled this report.They ask me to remove it or erase it from the internet and they gonna send me a cheque to my name within 3 or 5 days.

Im really happy about it.I want to particullary thank ripoff report team or whatever help me get my money back.I learned from this i will never give my credit card number again on the phone.

Now,i just wish there is anyway to erase it or kind of hide it put it in the resolved category please,so i can get my money back.

You do not know the person calling you is legitimate.

Just hang up on telemarketers - hopefully we can get them outlawed soon.

There are too many chances that the person calling is not a legitimate business and is only trying to steal from you.
