Universaltime  share called me in june2012 and told us they have a buyer for our timeshare. We gave them $1800.00 ti sell it. Everytime I call, they gave me a different story. last time i called was in may2013 and they told me to wait 3 months . they were closing and that the buyer had to  come up with all the money. they said they had a check in our names for $30,000. but the buyers were making installment plans for the closing which would take 3 months-three payments. tried to call universal today but the phone is dead on their end.Judy & Joe  Exeter, Pa

This is not a rebuttal, but should help you.  Yes, that company was a complete scam.  Even when the phones were shut off and the email said undeliverable we thought that it was a dead end.  We did end up getting our money back from them.  It was about a 2 month process and we had to find out what to do first.  There is an ebook a member on here recomended to us that is a step-by-step basically how to get your money back/out of timeshare.  It is long, but teaches you everything (and I do mean everything) an attorney does for you.

Very worth it in our opinion, it was worth every penny.  It was an easier process than what you would think, you really just have to know how to find them and what to say.  If you have another timeshare like we did it will get you out of that too.  timesharesamaritan is the website for it.  Once these guys knew we found them, they were actually quite quick about the refund.  I think they knew we were really going to expose their scam.  Just follow the instructions in the book and you will be fine.  Good Luck! Universal timeshare & Royal Elite Timeshare Scam

AUTHOR: Becker79 - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, July 17, 2013

Chris Holiday at 866-590-7029 (x100) from Universal Timeshare SA just called me. He gave me his ID #4389659 like that number magically made the whole thing legit. He was very easy to understand, but honestly sounded like a member of the mob. After giving him absolutely minimal information about my Royal Elite Timeshare (i.e. number of bedrooms, bathrooms and how many it would sleep) he came back and said they had a buyer on the phone that was offering $15, 000 for the unit (not bad considering they didn't even know WHERE it was or what week or anything). Coincidentally the buyer was from Canada. Mr. Holiday told me that they were interested in buying the unit due to the upcoming Memorial Day holidays. When I explained that my week was not a summer week but rather a winter week he said that what he meant was that they had people "in" due to the upcoming holidays. When I explained that they don't celebrate Memorial Day in Canada, he quickly changed the subject. Also coincidentally they wanted me to pre-pay legal fees of $1798 (I played dumb at first and told him I understood it was $17.98). Since I was assured that Universal Timeshare SA would receive no part of that $1798, I asked if I could deal directly with the legal team as far as payment (this was after going through a list of exactly what fees and services the $1798 would cover and ascertaining that they would all traditionally be handled by an attorney). I guess he got tired of talking to me because he hung up on me after that. Very clearly a scam
