Universe Express Nicole Patrick, Henry Haynes, David Bloom Forged my Signature, Held My Property Hostage, and Overcharged by $2000 Carlstadt New Jersey

I hired Universe Express to move my property. They quoted me a rate of $1100. When they picked up my stuff, they refused to weigh my property at a weigh station with me present. The weight estimated was 1400 pounds. 

Three days later, after I already moved and couldn't be present they claimed it weighed 3500 pounds which was impossible. They threatened to release my property in New jersey when I was in indiana on my way to my destination and had no way to claim it. 

They basically held my property hostage... 

When my property arrived the moving driver told me that it couldnt have weighed more than 2000 pounds. 

I disputed the different in price with the credit card company, and Universe express actually sent FORGED SIGNATURES on a receipt for the remaining balance. This was impossible to be mine because I was in colorado and they were in NJ when they ran the card. I am so outraged that they would forge documents to steal a few thousand dollars from me. 

Needless to say, I will be filing a complaint with the attorney general of New Jersey.

This company is a the king of bait and switch, and they wait until you are most vulnerable (i.e. they have all your belongings and threaten to leave it on the street half way across the country. 

NEVER HIRE UNIVERSE EXPRESS>> especially if you deal with Nicole Patrick, who is the one who held our property hostage. I hope the government shuts them down!!!
