The Online MS Learning Technologies by far is the worst and most une...thical experience of my career. Why does a student have to "first" financially invest in several courses than receive "POTENTIAL" possible transfer credits? Would you continue under these circumstances when you originally were told you would receive transfer credits? Receiving transfer credits and "POTENTIAL TRANSFER CREDITS ""AFTER CORE CLASSES ARE COMPLETE"" ON A PLAN OF WORK" are two different statements.

Make sure to get everything this department says verbally in writing. Don't believe a word about Transfer Credits and make sure you check your State approval for their online programs. I was in Ohio and I couldn't even enroll in online courses unless I was in the state of Texas. I was notified of this in written format within my UNT portal. I was mislead and misinformed throughout the entire admissions process. I wasted my time. People seem nice, but all staff are going in different directions. You get told two different prices for out-of-state tuition.

They kept stating they would refund my application fee. I had to email them four times and report them into the Dallas, TX BBB just to get the money. They were even dishonest to BBB about the date they paid me. I paid in Nov. 2015 and didn't receive my refund physically in the mail until Monday 1/18/2016. What is ethical about this? I am informing the public about practices with online programs at UNT. I would be more than happy to share my emails and plan of work for verification of the statements I am making above.

At what point is this not an unethical business vs. a educational college. It is sad that an online program misinforms students in need to gain financially for additional income into their department. How is this not taking advantage of a student and financial aid?
