I fell victim to their so called school that they said was what I needed to do to start my carrer training. I wanted to go back to school and I found this online one, I thought it was a good thing to do, boy was I wrong. All they want is your money.

I should of noticed all the signs that they were sending out to me. All my so called counselour talked about was getting the loan sorted out so that I could get started with my carrer. I thought ok, that is not so bad at first because I was excited to start my carrer that I wanted to do. He claimed that it was a good program to get into and this is the school to go and get your carrer started with.

My so called counselour kept pushing my start date for my first day of school back for a few weeks then he said that he was not ready yet and he is just waiting for my loans to go through so I could start school. He called me back and said that I can start school now and I did not think nothing about it.

So I started my classes and they were going good and he helped me alot and he paitiently expained what I did not get about the school work. I passed my first two classes with an A. I still did not think nothing about it at the time. I worked hard during my classes. Then the second set of classes started with no trouble at all. The RED FLAG started popping up all over the place for me. My class started to get smaller and smaller and I could not figure it out why.

I just thought that they gone to another class or something. I started to do research on the Axia College four weeks after I started my second set of classes I started to suspect that something was wrong with the University. I researched and I found out that the college IS A SCAM. I called my so called counsler for three days straight and I got no answer at all. I left messages and nothing.

I am happy to say that I stopped going to this so called college online. This college is FAKE! All they want is your money and they do not care about anything else.

PLEASE RUN! Run from that college. I beg you! Do not fall for this college. They are a rip-off. DO NOT let people tell you otherwise! SAVE YOURSELF!!

If there is a lawsuit against this college, COUNT ME IN!!!

I hope that all the people at that fake college have to pay back all the money that they took from the people that they scamed. I hope they get what they deserve!

Where was your research beforehand?

AUTHOR: Cat - (U.S.A.)

I do not know a great deal about online education as my college degree was almost thirty years ago .However I did do alot of research before I applied and was accepted at the college of my choice. Why did you not research BEFORE you enrolled? To just drop out because your classes became small makes absolutely no sense whatsoever! I worked two full time jobs to pay for college, went through five major surgeries, was a wife ,had 2 mis-carriages and still graduated with my class. I do not say this to brag in any way, only to show that life is hard , but with effort and hard work you can achieve anything you put your mind to! An education is worth is priceless and you just basically shrugged your shoulders and gave up. I would have loved a small class in college. When i went it was not uncommon to have 300 students in a class, so recieving any individual help was scarce.

Life is hard work and I hope you do not give up this easily in other areas of life as easily as you hsve here ,otherwise you are in for a long, very painful life. I am 48 and I live with a chronic disease . It never allows for a day without severe pain, but I am blessed that God allowed for me to be able to go to college. I recieved my degree and depsite having 45 surgeries I work hard and I also run an on line support group for people with chronic pain. I wish you the best of luck, you are going to need it.

What did you learn?

AUTHOR: Dyneemo - (U.S.A.)

I am sorry but I have to completely disagree with you. The UoP programs are not a typical school setting, true, but quitting school just because your classes got 'smaller' is not a very smart choice.

How far did you get in your education? By your post, I would assume not very far. I am not sure what a carrer is, however, I am not sure that they teach that at the UoP.

I am a Master's Student at UoP; my classes are also smaller as I go along. Why? Because students go in different directions, take different classes, and major in different areas but I am not going to 'quit' because of that.

I would like to know where you did your research at? Do you not think that if this university were a SCAM, it would not be in positive standing with the Better Business Bureau? I don't think that the BBB allows scams to continue operating.

If you can send post links to viable information stating that UoP is a scam, I would actually like to read them. And, I don't mean disgruntled students who do not want to work for their degree complaining that they actually had to do something to earn a grade, I mean websites that are valid, real, and certified.

The school is great. Maybe some people cannot handle the online school and need more structure but it has worked perfectly for me. A mother of twins and working two jobs it is great. I don't have to sit in long lectures and can just get right to the point with learning. The teachers are good and knowledgable. I have not had any problems managing my life and school time. Also they take your money because thats what you signed up for. A spot is reserved and a professor time is already used so you should have to pay. In the world of technology that we live in today online schooling is a great way to learn and get a degree.
Substandard is the last word that would come to mind here.
