My wife was called by Uniway of Knoxville 2 years ago and easily convinced she wanted to visit this place and at least get all the wonderful gifts. I really never wanted to go, first of all the "showroom" is an hour from our house and next because I knew someone was going to talk us into something.

I am pretty good at making decisions about a place or product because I've been involved with so many. BUT, like many others, while I was in their presentation I was thinking of all the things I wanted to do with my house and the things I would love to buy with this amazing discount, so we paid the 2500 dollars and signed all the lines and here it is two years later. So far we have bought a table.

Here's the problem they won't tell you. If you like buying things that are completely overpriced to start and of only a couple of different brands then you are okay. I personally tend to shop around and look for the deals ( that's what it is all about). Then the problem begins, first you have to find out what items they even sell, then what companies they have to offer (usually only one) Then find the actual item number which in many cases isn't listed, espcially on the web. Next, you call uniway tell them what you want, hope they have it and decide if that is a deal or not ( surprisingly many times someone else offers it cheaper. If you want it, pay to have it shipped (they won't even send it to your house (hope you have a truck) then in my case drive an hour away to get this item that you hope is the right one, (because you really don't know) load it up and bring it home.

I'm a positive person and still think maybe I can do something with this membership, but I think many people would be sorely disappointed in this company as a whole. My main issues are the cost is too great to justify in any reasonable time and nine 9 out of 10 times you won't be able to get what you want.
