UPS United Parcel Service ripoff Damages shipments and won't honor the Insurance that you Pay for through Them Atlanta Georgia

Shipped a Porcelain Jardenaire and Pedestal Set thru UPS from Missouri to Wisconsin(504 miles). When the lady got the packages, she said that there were BIG Gashes in the boxes and and you could just tell by the sound when they were moved that it was Shattered, she opened one and after seeing it didn't even bother to open the other package.

So, I filed a claim with UPS and they picked the packages up to return them. They say that "they" Inspected them and found it to be "Improper Packaging"?, mind you these same boxes came from over seas in the "same" boxes and never got even a scratch on them!

Well, after I finally got them both back 1 one day and the other the next(one got routed to the wrong destination and had to be re-routed back) and Inspected them myself at an UPS dropoff, BOTH pices were totally shattered, half of the packing materials were gone and there were holes in one that looked like someone had kicked it and the other one had tears in it and what looked like giant claw marks going down the sides! I had bought $500.00 worth of Insurance on them, only for them to decide "Improper Packaging"!! I don't think so! Then what do you get Insurance for?

So, they can break it and just say, "Oh Well, Improper Packaging"! It's not right! Now that I've gone thru the experience with them myself and have been checking them out(better late than never?), just about everywhere you go on the Internet you can find someone complaining about their(UPS's) unfair Insurance/Damage Claims going basically without notice! Well somebody needs to stand up and say, NO MORE!! And make them Honor the Insurance that you buy just in case something gets damaged or broken!THATS WHAT IT IS FOR! Sounds like a SCAM to me!
