I attended a seminar conducted  by a representtive of Upside Down Solutions. The  organization promised to negotiate a mortgage principle reduction for me that was more in line with the fair market value of my home. Frustrated  because I could not refinance my mortgage to take advantage of the lower interest rates becasue I was (Upside Down), Isigned on with the company with high hopes and expecting them to do what they claimed they could and would do. I paid $9.200 to Upside Down Solutions to negotiate a settlement with my mortage company.

I was asssured over and over that I would definitely get a reduction based on the fact that my mortgate like thousands of others had been securetized and sold on wall street. The representative  told me that the process would take from 4-6 months. Nine months later I was told UDS could not do anything for me that I could not have done on my own utilizing the government HARP program. I went to Jim Burnette the owner and proprietor and demanded my money back.

What I got was a lot of double talk and and request for me to submit documents that would be forwarded to the Mortgage company to negotiate  a loan reduction.  The Mortgage Company has stated they DO NOT participate in any kind of loan reduction plan. I am not eligible for a hardship modification because I don't and never have had a hardship that would prevent me from paying my mortgage.

The documents I was asked to submit such as tax records, pay stubs, expense record, and bank statements are doucments such as would be needed for a hardship modification. I made it very clear up front from day one that I did not have a hardship and was not looking for a hardship modification. I was even encouraged by UDS to stop making mortgage payments. Thank goodness I did not do that or I would be now facing foreclosure and my very good credit score would be in the toilet.

Jim Burnett needs to take responsibility for the lies and misrepresentations and refund  to me the money I was scammed out of.  It was aalways all about collecting the money. I made payments of $1000 a month after an  initial deposit of $1250 and $2000 for an audit.  Jim Burnett was dilligent in making sure he collected my money. He had people call every month several days before payment was due just to make sure he would get the money. Now that I want my money back I get NOTHING.
