Uptown Nails Rude, Violent, Hostile, Unprofessional, Snarky, Awful, Abusive San Diego California

This place absolutely sucked. My mother and I walked in before noon to get full sets, and all the employees were just hanging out with their feet on the hand salon areas and food everywhere. No one else was there. So then we sit down and they start.

The woman who did my mom's nails completely ruined them. They were lumpy, uneven, and crooked as all hell, and super wide. The entire time, the woman just keeps going even when my mom tells her she doesn't like how they're coming out. So after she's done, my mom says she doesn't like them and tries to explain, this woman who did her nails starts getting uppity and rude and says "you told me you liked them before I added color!" (Which she did NOT, I was right there next to her the whole time).

And so she asks the lady to remove them, and the woman gets even ruder and starts talking to another woman in whatever language they speak, and starts going at my moms nails super rough! She was literally just ripping them off, and as she's doing this she's trying to tell my mom she has to pay the $43 for the set that she's now getting shredded off. As she gets to the last nail, she takes the last chunk of acrylic and just jerks it off, leaving my moms finger literally bleeding with a huge chunk of her nail missing and the woman just says "all done!" And walks away.

She was so incredibly violent with removing them, after she messed them up, after she did a bad job, and left my mom in pain all day with half a nail left. They didn't even offer a band aid or anything. They were absolutely horrible. Don't ever go here. They are rude and unprofessional as hell, and to literally cause harm to a customer because you messed up is disgusting.
