I ordered two pairs of shoes from Urbanog.com and I choose their shipping method of USPS because the include their brokerage fee's in their shipping price so its good for Canadian shoppers just like me. Well to my surprise on the weekend I received a tracking from UPS not USPS like I requested so I thought OK maybe it will be okay. Nope on Monday I saw in the tracking that it was being processed for brokerage so I called up UPS and asked what the cost and why yadda yadda they explained to me it was going to be 34$ I flipped because the total value of the goods is only 50$ I then called Urbanog it took a while but finally someone answered the phone it was some snooty chick so I explained the issue at hand and she right away said there is nothing we can or will do for you so I asked for the managers email and she did give it to me so I emailed him the issue. I explained that this is an issue on their part due to the improper shipping method and that they should at least paid for half or accept me to send the package back for free I would eat the shipping but I wanted him to wave his fee and he wouldn't . I get my final info on the package and find out I owe UPS 41$ for Brokerage fee's that's a 90% fee on what the items are and I cannot get the items unless I pay so either way I'm screwed out of my hard earned money and ended up paying 62$ for shipping on two items that only cost me 50$ please explain this to me it makes no freaking sense. I have no issue in paying the 8$ it is for the duty on my items but not 33$ urbanog was at fault and should have to pay. I really couldn't afford to buy these shoes in the first place and now that I'm having to pay added fee's it makes it worse.
