Movers extorted money for packing material ($75). Very rude. Demanded a tip to be kept ready for when they arrive.
Showed up 4 days late, Delivered 40 days late.
Did not honor their lateness compensation fee as in the contract.
Damaged most furniture (table, chair, hutch), lost mirrors, table tops, no compensation. Cracked 61" TV Screen.
When I filed called about a claim they asked me to send a letter with the details, list of items, cost to replace etc...all I got faxed a form asking for a professional repair estimate (costs $75 minimum here in Texas)
I've been trying to all for months now and nobody picks up. They seem to have changed their company name to "LONE STAR MOVERS"
