US Bank GMC Leasing Undisclosed Fees associated with GM Vehicle Lease National Nationwide

I recently closed out a lease on a Chevy Traverse with US Bank.  They are the default leasing agent for GM.  I thought I was getting a 36 month lease, and it turns out it was 39 months, which was not disclosed by the dealer.  So, to get out from under, I had to pay 3 months in lease payments (over @1300) for a car I no longer own, then to top it off, I get a bill today for a Lease Termination Fee of $395.00.  Just adds insult to injury.

I have leased cars many time in the past and this fee has NEVER been imposed before.  Although it was in the lease agreement, it was not disclosed by the dealer - which for a fee that is not standard for the industry, it should be.  Not sure about you, but I tend to not read the small print in an agreement that should be standard; I will not make that mistake again.  This has been a terrible ownership experience overall.

I would NEVER lease through US Bank if there is an alternative.  They don't care about you as a customer, are not responsive to complaints, and hide fees and charges all over the place.  If you want a GM vehicle, insist they get another leasing agent, or get your own.  Maybe if GM loses enough payements from the leasing company, they will smarten up and look out for their customers and not themselves and their business partners.
