I applied on-line for a cash advance loan. I immediately started to receive a large volume of calls to offer several different amounts of a loan. I decided to not get any loan at all. I am now being called by a gentleman by the name of Justin Murphy (strange name for a middle eastern man) threatening me with arrest if I do not provide him with a credit card or debit card to pay the sum of around $400.
When I asked for the case number or the account numer or even the phone number for this company which is claiming that I owe them money they could not provide me with this information because it would either be a conflict of interest or that the case has not been filed yet so thety don't have a case number.
The same company has also called me with a California number stating the same thing. It is very distressing to be told that I am going to be arrested and that they are going to go to my place of employment and tell my manager that I have committed fraud.
