I responded to an ad in the local merchandiser for "extra" positions in TV/movies by calling the number listed. 


During my conversation with the representative, I was told that, for a one-time debit from my checking account of $6.98, I would receive a portfolio to complete to be registered to receive notices from companies looking for "extras". There was no mention of membership, free, trial or otherwise. I did not authorize any future debits from my checking account. 

I received the portfolio. The mailing did not include anything else, such as membership information, additional costs, etc. I scrutinized it for fine print, which I always carefully read. There was none. The portfolio had a very amateurish appearance and I decided I was not interested in registering for the service so I threw it away. 

Two weeks after the authorized debit appeared, another, unauthorized debit appeared for $59.00. I could not find a website for US Casting LLC after searching every different way I could think of. I contacted the bank to submit a fraud form and I emailed a complaint to BBB Denver. 

Currently I am awaiting a response from any/all of the above....
