I was contacted this morning by Kevin Johnson from US Legal Investigation Bureau. I was told that I had criminal and fraud charges filed against me and I needed to contact him back.
Well, of course I tried to call him back since he told me my entire social security number in the message. I also called the social security office for a seperate reason and also asked about the call I got. She asvised me to contact my local police department.
I called my local police department and they advised me that it sounded like a scam. All the while I'm on my cell phone(which is where I got the call) trying to get ahold of Mr. Johnson.
Please, if you are contacted by a man with a thick arabic accent telling you that you have some kinds of criminal charges don't listen to him and call your local police department. I'm really glad that I did not speak with this person or the situation might be worse.

I recieved the same kind of phone call just two days ago telling me that if I did not pay $1400.00 by the end of the day I would be arrested at my place of work And put in federal prison for two years for not paying back this $300.00 loan.
I was so terrified I did give him my bank information. But when I hung up with him I called my local police dept. and the FBI dept. They told me NEVER give my bank information over the phone.They told me call my bank and have that card cancelled now. So I did what they told me but now I have to find a way to contact this company that I owe $300.00 to so I can pay them off. But this bill is from 4 years ago and i've moved two times since then. This man had me convinced. But luckily I did some investigating of my own.
