US Treasury scam Phone call with someone trying to identify themselves as an agent with the US Treasury California
02/13/2015
On this date, a man who identified himself as "Steve Martin" called my cell and tried to pass himself off as an agent for the US Treasury. He stated that they had been looking for me for a long time and that they had an active warrant out for me. I then stated to him that I was recording this conversation and he became very hostile and finally hung up. He had a heavy Middle Eastern accent and could not speak clearly. the number is 530-419-3432 and originated from the Redwood/Truckee are of California. I'm sure its a scam for money but just ignore them....
