This company leads you to believe that they work or represents the Post Office and puts up an ad in "The Town Talk" that reads: 'US Post Office Now Hiring; Starting pay is $20/hr' and it provide the consumer with a phone number where once you call they immediately notify you that the study quide is $99 which will cost $126 for standard shipping or $144 for expedited shipping. They tell the consumer you can receive a refund only if you didnt pass the test, or can not locate an open position within a year or you were not offered a job on the first interview.

The problem here is that the Post Office offers this study guide FREE OF CHARGE and even states they do not charge any fees for employment information!!!! I read this a little to late as I paid $126 for the book. EVERYONE PLEASE AVOID THIS

We Are Not The Post Office, But We Also Are Not A Scam, Please Allow Us To Explain

Dear Jasper,

US Work Alliance/Exam Services is not a scam. We are an independent, private company that provides study guide materials for those who want help in preparing for the Postal Battery Exam.

The USPS does offer a free study booklet, and we encourage you to get a copy. However, it only consists of a few sample questions. The guide we offer is a 340-page book that offers several full length practice tests which allows you to time yourself and become familiar with what pace you will need to work during the test. We also include a personality profile, job assessment, email notification of job openings and test dates in your area and Customer Service representatives available to answer any questions that you may have. It is an excellent tool for people who want to thoroughly prepare for this exam. In addition for the $99.50, clients also get other materials and services that will help them in the job search process.

In the same way that many independent companies offer study guides for the SAT or LSAT to help students achieve a better score on those tests, our service has helped many people prepare for and eventually secure a position at the post office. The postal Service exam is a competitive exam that can be taken only once every twelve months and candidates must pass with a minimum score of 70% to even be considered for an interview. It is in people's best interest to prepare for the exam and our aim is to help people prepare for this test so that they will pass with an outstanding score and increase their probability of being asked for an interview. We offer an extensive study guide and other educational materials to help people better prepare for the Postal Battery Exam.

When customers call our 800-number, we fully describe our product and related services. Our Customer service Representatives follow a strict script to comply with Attorney General as well as post master guidelines to keep our company credible and ethical.
Our Customer Service representatives are highly trained, and many of them have taken the Postal Battery Exam themselves in order to better relate with customers that call in for our study guide.

Also, we have a very generous refund policy that we feel encourages our customers to obtain a job, we offer a refund to customers if: 1) you do not pass the exam, 2) if you pass the exam and are called in for an interview and don't get offered the job, 3) if you pass the exam and are called in for an interview and are offered the job and accept it and complete one full week of work, 4) if you do not have the opportunity to take an exam in your area for one year.

Please call our customer service hotline at 800-584-1859 with any further questions or comments.
