Us Xpress Us Xpress and Transport Enterprise Leasing (TEL) Lease set up to fail Chattanooga Tennessee

 You contract to lease with Us Xpress through their third party company, TEL. They say you will get 2500 to 2800 miles a week. The reality is you will not see that high of a number of miles. At 2300 miles, you will only make approximately $600. After taxes, that is only $400 a week. If they ever leave you sitting out on the road for the whole weekend, your pay will be more like $150 before taxes for that week. Basically, it is way less than minimum wage for a 70hr work week. As far as the TEL side of it, if you want to end the lease you must pay the remaining month's lease payment, the next month's lease payment, an $1800 early termination fee, and any repairs needed on the truck, all together, about $5000.
