My checking account was debited 149.95 today and I immediately questioned it. I knew I have not authorized any debits of this kind. I did an online search and came up with the rip off report. After reading the other items, I called my bank and they said to call USA credit first and they had a number for them. So I called them and I went through the automation before I finally got to a person. He then confirmed all the information he had, my name, address, SS, DOB, etc, he told me that I applied for this membership on Dec. 25, and that I agreed to the terms of this which include deducting 149.95 from my account. I told him in no way, shape, or form did I ever apply for this and I wanted a refund. He agreed to process a refund that will take 8 days to get back because they want to make sure the debit was good first before they refund my money. So he said on the 12th they should be able to initiate the refund. He also gave me a cancellation number, so on the 12th I will call back and make sure it was processed. I don't know how they got my information either, they told me to file a police report with the local police after making sure no one in my family filled out the application. I am positive no one in my household did this, so I am considering this. Thanks

Compaines like this, pull your credit report and got all the information from that or the information came from one of there other companies that fall under the parent company.

of course they'll tell you, it was a family member.

I would file a complaint with you state attorney and whatever agency that covers the banking in your state and well as any federal agency

it's a good thing you noticed this within the time limit, did you get the money back?
