USBI Unauthorized third party long distance billing Internet Nationwide

I received my monthly phone bill to discover that USBI had added charges of $19.95 from a company called Flat Rate Long Distance, Inc. My local and long distance provider, AT&T indicated that they could not credit the charges but would notify the biller, USBI, that the charges are in dispute. USBI provides a phone number to call on the bill but doesn't answer so you have to file a compliant on line which the site claims you will receive a response back in a couple of days. We'll see. AT&T can put a third party block on your line for not charge to prevent these types of charges but it also blocks collect calls. Don't know about the rest of you but when's the last time you needed that capibility? There is a lot of chatter on line including this site for claims against this company. My adivce, contact your provider early to prevent being stuck with large bills.
