I was billed $32.20 in June 2011 on my A.T. & T business phone account  for search engine optimization that I neither wanted nor needed. It was on the basis of my (maybe, maybe not) saying yes to this arrangement after a 2-4 minute phone call with someone in heavily accented English which made it difficult to hear what he was saying.  I was trying to get some work done and was not listening.

I have called the provider and had the charges stopped but if I had not, they would have continued each month, indefinitely. The lesson I learned, again, was be rude and hang up early to these phone calls.

But readers of this should spread the word about this problem.
