I acquired a $200 loan from US Fast Cash online, July 21, 2011.  It was the type of loan you could pay 'in time'.  They told me that there would be a $60 interest/service fee against/on the principle or I could pay the entire loan, or service fee + something towards the principle too. Being on SSI, I had to make payments as I couldn't afford to pay all at once.  Anyway, I made payments of $60 startind 8/1/11 to 12/1/11.  That is a total of $300!  Then they started taking out for the principle...payments startind on 1/01/12-$30, 1/1/12-$50, 12/1/11-$50, 12/30/11-$45+ $50, 2/1/12-$50 +$30.  That's a total of $305.00!  Okay now they say I still owe the $65.  If they charged service fees, seems to me that the $200 is paid.  Please guide me to the resources/agencies I need to contact to resolve this situation.  I am in dire need of help.  Thanks you.

What did the contract say?

This loan you got was a high risk, high interest, payday loan.  The terms and conditions are in the agreement you signed to get the money.  They gave you a choice to pay it all back in one lump sum plus a $60 fee OR to make installments over time. Naturally, the installment method is the most expensive way to repay this type of loan because you have additional interest and additional fees. You chose the most expensive method for repayment. You only have $65 left, according to your post. Pay them.

If you have to pick up a temporary job to get the funds, then that is what you need to do. SSI doesn't mean you can't do anything to earn money. There are all kinds of things you can do, even if you are disabled. You can pet sit or some other small job for extra money. Sell some of your household goods on Craigslist. Use your imagination and your skills. You must have some skill at something to earn extra money so you don't need an expensive payday loan.  You can not borrow your way through life.
