I received an invitation in December 2003 to attend a seminar on building websites. My cousin and I are partners in a website that does a few things. It offers information and we sell memberships. We thought perhaps if we added a store we could make more revenue. My main goal for attending this seminar was to gain insight in building websites.

At the first meeting there were about 80 attendees. I felt there was a good turn out for this as normally I never attended these sort of things as I have always been skeptical. However, when I arrived and saw how well attended it was I thought, wow these people must be more informed than I

The meeting began with Tim Payne showing us a slide and letting us see how much we remember or can identify looking at a figure on a screen. Then he picked (a so called stranger from the audience) to list numbers or people on a piece of paper. He then had the person read his list and Tim resited all of it and putting them in numeric order. Then came the sales pitch and the bidding on this All About Memory CD. The bidding went as high as $600.00. So when he finally offered the CD at I believe $19.95 and a good portion of the room flew up and purchased one. Who wouldn't want a good memory, especially if your in business? That was the first come on.

Selling the rest was easy as he used similar tactics for selling uTravel and told about all the money you could make on uTravel. (By the way I have 25 of those cards in my possession anybody want one?) I mailed the cards along with my $2.95 sh and all I got was a discount coupon for a cruise from Carnival and we get those all the time here in South Florida.

The meeting was then turned over to an associate whose name escapes me. This gentleman touched another important subject. Health insurance he sold us a membership to e-Commerce where you would get all kinds of deals on healthcare, prescriptions, distressed merchandise you name it you were going to get it for an annual fee of $49.00.

The first meeting I got sucked into: 1. Memory CD $19.95, 2. uTravel cards $20.00 3. eBusiness enrollment $49.00 (told at the time was for year intro offer. $$298.00 for personal website and 1 time Search Engine Submission (what ever that is suppose to mean. $. Gumball machine.

Well like many of you, there was so much happening at once who had time to realize what was really going on. Even though I thought I asked the right questions I now realize that they would say anything to get you to sign on the dotted line. Now I was a member and invited to the FREE class. All along I explained that I was interested in working on my existing websites and kept asking if USight enabled you to do so and the answer was always YES!

I attended the free class, a gentleman attended and made a comment about what frauds they were and he was escorted out immediately and they said that a disgruntled usight purchaser was upset because he hadn't made 1 million dollars and it was a matter of public record and that they can not guarantee anyone making 1 million and that they settled out of court.

The class continued and at one point and I think it was while they escorted the gentleman out I approached the young gentleman working the screen. I told him why I was interest in Usight and what I was interested in doing and he even pulled up my website on the screen (10BestRestaurants.com) for the room to see. I explained that I would like to learn how to go in a make changes to it myself as the webmaster has become so expensive and he assured me I could and so did his father Mr. Sperry.

So when they roped me into the next phase of spending $3,995.00 for unlimited websites to sell and he married into that, the fact if you have the utravel cards you could offer free trips or you could develop your own travel business as he and his cohorts travel to the finest places free. Once again you go to the counter and they have so much going on at once you are not thinking as you are talking to the other suckers and all along you are seeing possiblity in building websites and they make it look so easy and for the most part it is but so is any publishing program you own.

What they neglect to tell you and as time goes on I finally found out is that I could never work on my website as it is not written in their program. As time went on I was told I would have to rewrite my website in their program. Why would we do that as $1.000's have been spent on our website.

Later, I find that once you sell a website they have YOUR CREDIT CARD and charge it to you and if the buyer for some reason reneges on the deal they are always covered. Now what if you had the good fortune in selling 10 websites and these people were unhappy, then you are now on the hook for those ten websites (domain name and hosting. You are on the hook for another $200.00 per month to usight until you can resell them. THEY NEVER EXPLAIN THAT ASPECT OF THERE BUSINESS..... THEY ALSO NEVER TELL YOU THAT YOU CAN'T WORK ON AN EXISTING SITE WITH THEIR PROGRAM. Not until the three days right to refuse the contract expires. THEY ARE BEYOND SLICK.

My story gets better. They double charged me $3,995.00. Oh they were very nice about it and said they would refund my money. Well not before they have the MENTORING PEOPLE CALL. I had started to build a website for my Homeowners Association. And then the calls began. They complimented me on how committed I was and how they knew I would succeed. They asked me how much money I would like to make. I said 2 million. Well why not? Why not, the price of the mentoring program was predicated on how much you would like to make. They wanted $20,000.00 and they told me how they could finance it. They had a copy of my credit card statement as they asked for it so they could accredit my account. I was certain that I blacked out any information, but apparently they are so shrewed, the figured I had much more credit on my account as it is a business account.

They now tell me how they are going to finance my mentoring, with the $3,995.00 they already owe me and the rest of my credit limit. Now I was getting sick to my stomach as I realized what scum they were.

Well one mistake they made was allowing my cousin to have a conference call with three of us on the line. The CON versation regarding the mentoring program was making loud and clear. He pulled them apart with questions that they could not answer and finally admitting to the fact that we could not do anything with our website other than rebuild.

Tell called back and had a Mr. Davidson try to shake me down for less money and all along trying not to refund the $3,995 they over charged my account. Now he was going to discount me as I was a superior subject and they would pay half of my mentoring. Do you believe the gall. How stupid do they really believe people are and how many times did they over charge people to see if they could get them to commit to the money they already extracted. Somehow they knew my account was good for the additional funds. THIS IS VERY SCARY!

NOW MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY WANTS ALL KINDS OF DOCUMENTATION TO RESOLVE THIS MATTER AS THEY CAN'T SIMPLY NOT ALLOW TO TAKE THE MONEY OUT. I HAVE TO GET ON THE PHONE WITH EVERY CHARGE AND REPORT THAT I DID NOT AUTHORIZE IT. IF USIGHT HAS ANY INSIGHT TELL WILL STOP TAKING MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT.

USight needs to be put out of business and the hotels that allow this sort of activity need to be put on notice that if they continue to allow people to rent their rooms to rip off their neighbors (local residents)that they will be sued and I do believe a class action suit is in order against Usight and anyone who assists in perpetrating their crime. Is there pain and suffering, you bet there is. People that are desperately trying to make a living in these difficult times trusted Usight and put their credit on the line. Usight should not be allowed to operate any further and we should put a stop to it now.
