Over a year ago I accompanied a friend to an "ePenzio" eBusiness Seminar, at which time my friend wanted to join, she had enough to cover most of the initial costs with the exception of the one with uSight.com aka. CYBERSEM/MOTO or HOME/MOTO. The gentleman that was helping her that evening said " We could put the charge on my card for the initial payment and then all subsequent payments would revert to her card". Sounded good, so we both wrote out Account setup/activation forms. The contract that they have on this account is in my friends name and all her contact information, the only information of mine is my credit card number.

That is not how the story went. Since April of 2002 this company has charged my American Express monthly for the fee of $39.95. I began disputing this charge in June of 2002 with AMX. My friend also moved to Texas and misplaced all of the contract information. I began trying to find this company as they were listed on my account summary with AMX as "HOME/MOTO". When I called AMX for contact information on this company they also found a dead end, they could not supply me with any information outside of the fact the company was based in Salt Lake City , UT.

I called the BBB, the City and County Business Liscense office and could find no information on this company. I found an address that the payment was sent to, so I then called the County Assessors office to find out who owned the building.

I called "Lakeline Developent Company" and asked who was leasing the building at the address I was given and asked if they possibly had a phone number. The secretary was very sweet and put me on hold to run next door and ask them for their phone number.

When I called this company who answers the phone "Corporate offices" I spoke with the gentleman who answered the phone and asked what company I was calling, he shortly responded "who are you trying to call". I have spent alot of time and long distance phone calls trying to track down this company, and was not pleased to have some rude little man on the other end of the phone make me have to play 20 questions to get a straight answer.

When I asked him who Cybersem was and about the charge on my credit card, he pulled up my friends name, address, phone number etc. and my card number. This company does not take customer service as a priority nor do they allow you to talk with anyone in the billing department, let me rephrase that, they did keep sending me to "Chris" but only to her voice mail, left several messages, none of which were returned.

I have been trying for almost a year now to get these people off my credit card and I am very frustrated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have not ever used their services, required their services. I have sent them a letter of complaint and requested that they cancel any charges to my credit card, and that I wanted to be credited back for half of the time they have charged my card.

This I feel was a fair request as their personal representative that evening did not live up to his/their obligation of a one time charge to my card. I also sent a copy of the letter to the Dispute Department of American Express, the Attorney General for the State of Utah, the Better Business Bureau and the County Department of Business Liscensing.

I received a response letter this week from CyberSem Co. They have only have my copy of the Account setup/activation form, and both signatures of myself and my friend, her initials for the cancellation policy, and was told that I am responsible for the contract.

My complaint on this company in a nutshell is this : IF YOU ARE A REPUTABLE COMPANY YOU SURE SPEND A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF ENERGY HIDING YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION FROM THE GENERAL PUBLIC. RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND YOU DID NOT LIVE UP TO YOUR AGREEMENT.

Thanks for allowing me a place to vent my anger and disappointment in a company who by all appearances does not want to be seen or hear from its customer base and has no desire to do responsible and reputable business. BEWARE of CyberSem/ aka
ePenzio, Home/Moto, CyberSem/Moto.
