Utopia Residences and David Robb won this underlying dispute and were awarded over $4 million against the plaintiffs after trial and review by the District Court.  Furthermore, the Court ruled on September 21, 2016 that the information posted in this original Ripoff Report on January 14, 2014, is “false and defamatory.”  The attorney for the opposing side against Utopia Residences and David Robb, named Doug Mitchell, signed that 9/21/16  Court order which is posted on Lumen Database. Utopia was able to demonstrate to the Court substantial evidence that the original 1/14/14 Ripoff report containing allegations about Utopia and David Robb was false:

1)    There is absolutely no litigation from Samsung or Christies against Utopia or Mr. Robb in any jurisdiction anywhere;

2)    Frontier Group is in fact backing Utopia, as evidenced by the sworn testimony of Utopia’s executives and as indicated in Wikipedia (in the “Financing” section) and in many news articles (see links below)

3)    Utopia is in fact going forward with the development and building of its vessel, and the company has invested funds into hull form testing, and propeller testing…

4)    The allegation that David Robb is or was living off of investor funds with no intention of building the ship is untrue and dismissed immediately given he has not taken a salary from Utopia since May 2012, according to Court records and sworn testimony;

5)    There is no evidence of any wrongdoing by David Robb or Utopia, and there has been no SEC investigation.  According to the Court records, the only wrongdoing was committed by the former employees, and the Court ruled against them and punished them with a $4 million judgment.

The former employee who was fired from Utopia and posted the false and defamatory information on Ripoff report on 1/14/14 has committed wrongdoing against Utopia and Mr. Robb, as evidenced by the court ruling against that former employee in August 2015 and the Judgment against that former employee entered by the Court in January 2016.

The author of report #1115401 regarding Utopia Residences and David Robb is a disgruntled former associate of the company who has no firsthand knowledge of any of the statements alleged in the report and is merely trying to harass and intimidate Mr. Robb and Utopia Residences.  The disgruntled former associate is falsely posing as an investor or insider of the company, and the comments posted by that individual are merely a hoax.

The allegations are incorrect, such as allegations that Samsung and Christies have sued the company and that the company has no intention of building the ship and is not engaged in sales of residences.  Also false are allegations that Mr. Robb is somehow acting improperly or that there is something wrong with the Utopia project.  Those and the other allegations are false and should be treated as a hoax as well.
