Vacation Inspirations Total Rip Off Isle of Palms South Carolina

My husband and I attended a 90 minute seminar in Savannah GA on July 21, 2013.  We were overwhelmed by the so called savings that we would receive for travel if we signed an agreement and pay $4,995.  They also informed me that they would give us credit towards this price by taking over our timeshare in Las Vegas.  They would take $1000 off.  So now our price is $3,995.  We thought it was great.  Get out of our timeshare and have this awesome package to travel.   So we put down a $500 deposit and financed the rest.  We would pay $125.04 a month for 2 years.  Not two weeks later my husband lost his job.  I frantically contacted the company and begged them to let me out of my contract.  The person that called me back told me that they would "nicely" let me out of my contract but they were keeping my deposit.  I said "I truly need that money back my husband lost his job."  The representative told me that I had signed a legally binding contract and that they were doing me a favor by letting me out of it.  They told me that because it was outside of the 3 day rescind period that I lost my deposit.  Again the representative informed me that this was a legally binding contract but they would do me the favor and let me out of it.  How could I argue??  I needed to be out of the contract but now I am out $500 too.
