Vacation Store ripoff Ormond Beach Florida

I got a call a few months back from the Vacation Store stating I had won a new car in a contest I entered. Excited that just MAYBE I did win something I called back only to find out that I didn't win. But was supposedly in a drawing to win 1 out 5 items. I was guaranteed one of those 5 and that if I mentioned the reps name I'd get a free package to Atlantic City. Logically I said YES and made an appt to claim my prize for the next night at 8 in Hackensack, NJ.

When arriving in their so called offices I could barely notice where they were. But again I was still excited and paid no attention to the construction and lack of office pizazz. When I entered the office, with my fiancee and infant son in hand, there were many people there. I went to the counter and was greeted by a young lady who gave us some paperwork to fill out. As we were getting ready to sit she noticed my fiancee holding the infant seat with my son in it.

After noticing we brought our son she called us back asked us for the paperwork and told us we had to leave because children weren't allowed. When I asked to speak with someone she ignored me. I walked out into the hallway VERY upset and I decided to call the rep who'm I spoke with, glad I took her info. Unfortunately, Angela, the rep was not there andw as put on the phone with someone else who said that "I WAS TOLD" that I couldn't bring children.

When trying to explain that "Angela" didn't offer this information to me knowing I had a son she called me a liar FLAT OUT! So of course I asked for a manager, some good that did he was even worst then her and said I was a liar and that I had no right to call someone who'd been working for the company for over 15 years a liar. Mind you at no time did I mention the word liar. All I stated was that this woman even asked me about my son and talked about HER children but never stated I couldn't go with my son. I wouldn't have gone otherwise. But again I was called a liar by this man and hung up on.

I tried contacting this rep numerous times and all times she was NEVER in. When asked to speak with the owner he was never in. All I wanted from these people was a simple apology for their lack or information, uncalled for rudeness and waste of my time. I didn't even get that from the incompetent imbecile taking my call.

Oh BTW after speaking with numerous people who'd been to their so called "drawings" said they had to pay to join their vacation club. But when I asked the reps that were not being helpful if there WAS a membership fee I was told EVERY SINGLE time that it was free to be a member.

DON'T GET ENTANGLED IN THIS WEB OF LIES!!!!
