Vacation Village Voyages will bend over backward and tell you anything they think you want to hear to get you to buy into their program. Once the sale is made, all that changes.
I spent hours on the phone and numerous e-mails to their customer service (that's a misnomer!) department working my way up the chain of command but to no avail. They are totally unwilling to work with you or make any compromises. Travel should be a pleasant experience and should not involve battling with customer service for months only to be left a totally dissatisfied customer in the end. The worse part is that it doesn't seem to matter to them since they've got you committed for the next 10 years or so.
My advice -- DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH VACATION VILLAGE VOYAGES!

Í've been a member since 2008. They've had the same business hours for 7 years that I've known. The same address...even some of the same staff. They are closed nights and weekends. The mortgage department answers all messages. The sales office where you purchased also has an office with secretaries which can help you with everything from paying fees to passing you to a booking specialist. Anything other than trying to get out of paying your bill, should be a no-brainer. I"ve let my 9 year old neice handle some of my bookings..it's that easy. If, on the other hand, you are trying to default on your loan...then I guess just like anything else...they will try to collect what is theirs. When I bought, there was no credit check and I was welcome to re-finance if my credit was good enough to get a better rate. If not..then be happy that somebody loaned you any money.
BTW, I did let my membership lapse one year, due to a lack of funds...they just let me re-instate it the following year for $200. One email did the trick..none of this imaginary chasing them around BS.
