I was contacted by this company to get me to attend a 90 min presentation of their product. They offered a choice of a couple different destinations as my reward as well as $100 in gas to get to the presentation (8 miles away). I listened to the initial callers pitch to see if it may be something I wanted to do and said I may be interested. It was very hard to understand all he said due to his accent. He asked if I fell into a particular income bracket, and I answered yes. The second person came on the line and asked me a couple questions (who was also heavily accented) but I understood what was being asked. She also asked me my income and I said I did not make the amount she was asking. She said that I needed to just say that I fell into the income bracket when I checked in at the seminar and to not let her down. She kept saying "we need to understand each other". And I needed to "check the box $XXX and above" when checking in. After about 3 min of this I just said okay. She then said someone would call to confirm and that "we need to be on the same page". I think she said that 5 times.
I did take the return call, and told the caller I did not feel right about not falling into their target income bracket, did not want to waste their time (or mine) and that I declined the invitation to the seminar. I had to repeat that a couple times before she thanked me, said she would talk to her associates.

IMMEDIATELY I got a call back from the prior salesperson asking why I did not tell the confirmer that I made X amount, that it didn't really matter what I made, but just wanted me to come as long as I state on their form I made X amount. I told her I had NO intention of purchasing the product, I did not make their target income, I had no intention of lying about my income, it was a waste to them and me, I had no intention of buying in and didn't feel right about taking a gift they were offering without having any way or means of buying. She stated again.. it did not matter, they were trying to get the word out about how great they were... word of mouth. I told her again, i have no intention of buying... I don't want to waste your time, she said AGAIN to just SAY when I show up to lie about my income.
That does not sit right with me.
When the confirmer called back about 2 min later, I did not answer.

Ever since that day.. I get 5 or 6 calls from them a day. I do not answer, but they let the call connect and stay on the line for up to 5 minutes, whether to take up my answering machine time or to just be annoying, I do not know. I just know I will never do business with them, nor will I recommend them to anyone I know... I fact, because of their reaction to my request for no longer calling me, I am writing this report.

TAKE ME OFF YOUR CALLING LIST VACATION INTERNATIONALE!!!
Just thought I would try one more time.. maybe they are reading this...

This is clear telemarketing harassment and a violation. You told them not to call again.
