Valassis AKA Red Plum Valassis Communications Valassis Rips Off Advertisers By Delivering to Abandoned Homes in Detroit Livonia Michigan

Red Plum has been Contributing to Detroit Blight, knowingly misleading and Overcharging Advertisers for numbers of households, wasting natural resources, and illegally dumping circulars for over 5 years.

They are overcharging advertisers by inflating the numbers of viable houses delivered to. In normal, kept up neighborhoods, nobody would even think of asking about matching valid addresses with an actual house. Business owners don't live in blighted neighborhoods so it will never occur to them they are being overcharged or misled.

Unprofessional employees are throwing circulars anywhere they feel like. They pile them in yards, under bushes, on sidewalks, porches; even at homes with missing front doors, missing mailboxes, and etc.  Abandoned homes get deliveries week after week and remain there for years. Red Plum has been informed and hasn't done anything about it for years. 

I have informed/complained for 3 years in a row via email and phone to stop littering in my yard. They solved that by now mailing a copy and littering in my yard with wet or dirty, usually unwrapped copies. So now I am getting double every week.

It's even possible they are charging advertisers for actual postage for postal mailings to mailboxes but aren't physically sending them through the U.S. Postal Service. They may be getting delivered instead which is not what advertisers are paying for.

Either way, there is no regard for being professional and avoiding duplication (double delivery) or paying attention to valid addresses/households. There are many abandoned homes. There are no people there to read them.

Stop Red Plum from contributing to blight, overcharging advertisers by inflating number of household addresses, and illegally dumping in the city of Detroit. The headquarters are in Metro Detroit Livonia and they can't get it right?
